Berkley Gulp! Alive! Minnow Fishing Soft Bait

I am primarily a creek fisherman here in the South, and these fish can be persnickety about bait and presentation. I gave these minnows a go after seeing a couple folks using them, and boy howdy do they work. I took them out to a creek where I usually catch a few, but not a lot, of mixed species. With the gulp minnow I was catching fish nearly every cast. Largemouth like them, and bluegill, green sunfish, rock bass, and black crappie all had a go at the minnow. Even channel cats will crush his lure.They don't smell terrible, and they are reasonably durable given how soft they are(caught 5-6 fish on one before it started looking torn and tired).

I love these things. They are great for catching most fish. From purch to crappie. Great for kids, so easy to use and put on the hook. A lot better and easier than the old red wigglers.

The product will keep fish on your rod! My package came with a leaking lid they are pretty durable “fish dependent” they smell nasty but I guess that’s what fish like. They also look very realistic and they move in the water just like a real fish so they function very well awesome product other than my lid was leaking.

Like buying a bag of Lay's Potato Chips. you get half the amount that the container should hold but it still gets the job done.and cheaper than buying them in the little ziploc bags you find in stores. for some reason I can never find the jars in stores.Work a treat on smaller fish like sunfish, bluegill, etc. Bass might be interested as well, especially in the bigger ones.

Fantastic bait for blue gill and bass. I fish these in the 1" size with a super light jig head on ultra light tackle. Be ready to set the hook because fish can't seem to resist them! They are pretty soft so they will only catch about six fish before they begin to deteriorate and eventually come off the hook. No complaints though, could also be a good first time lure for those anglers graduating from being limited to bobbers and worms.

These are a must have in your tackle box. They are great for panfish, especially bluegills. Crappies will bite them. Your hands will smell bad, but, c'mon, you're going fishing - get over it.Works best with a small jig head. Fish will bite the tail.

This is my go to bait for catching panfish when everything else fails. Put this on a small jig head under a float and I can always catch something. They hold up well and the scent attracts this fish to it even when it’s just still under the float. I have caught bluegill, crappie, bass and even catfish with these.
