The shelves do not sit flush with the wall so they tilt back (they rest on the side rails). My husband notched them in the back so that they cradled the side rails flush against the wall to get them to sit level. Once he did this, they were exactly what I was looking for as added shelving for my kitchen.

We ordered two of these shelves one for our living room and one for my boys room they both look great and are sturdy! Very happy with our purchase!

The shelves are very crooked and unstable. Since the shelf hooks lean on bolts on the sides they are not sturdy at all. They also slant towards the wall - definitely needs extra reinforcements and work arounds to make this solid.

Very nice, sturdy, large piece. Hangs on my wall on our downstairs powder room.

The shelf looks just like the picture. Used it in a bedroom and like the large shelves to display things. Didn’t have much space on dresser and nightstand. It comes in pieces, so it has to be fully assembled on the wall. Not difficult if you know what you’re doing.

Great shelving unit. Lightweight but sturdy. Hung in in front of a window, looks great!

Easy installation and looks great. My daughter wanted this when we remodeled her room. It has a very nice rustic look to it.

Good shelf, looks exactly as advertised. Only downside is the shelf’s slant back slightly, not too noticeable with the books, but with some pictures and knickknacks it’s noticeable.
