Cameron's CoffeeRoasted Ground Coffee Bag, Flavored, S'mores, 12 Ounce

I try a lot of coffees. So you know where I am coming from, bitter does not equal flavor, and while burnt is a flavor, I don't find it to be a good flavor. That being said I aim for coffee that doesn't taste bitter or burnt. Starbucks is an example of both bitter and burnt coffee. This rates right up there with my favorite, lion coffee. I put these 2 on par, both very affordable and very smooth tasting. A GOOD coffee can be made strong without tasting bitter. I know people who think starbucks is "full of flavor" and if that's your thing great but in my opinion they are confusing, or have become accustomed to burned coffee and lacking that acrid burnt taste, think there is no flavor. If that's your thing you won't likely like this coffee. I am very happy with this coffee and will be trying more flavors from Cameron's to be sure.

I was hesitant to try this, as I am sold on another great Jamaican Me Crazy coffee which I purchase in Rochester, NY, when I'm there, however, I am not there that often. So because I could get this one delivered free because of my Prime membership, I thought I would give it a try. Wow! Taste exactly like the other, and it is delicious. Congrats Cameron Coffee on a great product.

I tried to find a way to write a review that didn't harsh, but I can't. I just can't. This coffee was such a disappointment and so, so awful.Opening the bag: As soon as you open the bag, the smell you get is overpowering, room-dominating cheap cough syrup with a tepid, nice cherry smell underneath. No hints of chocolate anywhere. Compare this to Door County's chocolate cherry coffee, which smells exactly like a box of chocolate covered cherries when you open it. I thought Cameron's might mellow out to a nice flavor when I brewed it, but oh no.The smell: Brewed was, if anything, worse. The hint of smooth cherry flavor disappeared entirely. The smell leftover was overbrewed, cheap coffee and cough syrup. Still no chocolate notes. Just gaggingly strong cough syrup. Still, I held out hope and pressed on.The taste: First, the base coffee flavor is bad. Bad-bad. 'I've has $3-a-bag-coffee better than this' bad. It tastes like flat-out overbrewed, burnt coffee. The 'chocolate cherry' flavor is even worse. There's no flavor but endless, uncaring, unfathomable bitterness. Have you ever accidentally tasted perfume or cologne? It was like that. Borderline alcoholic with an unspeakable bitterness you never want to taste again.All in all, it's like someone dumped a bottle of cheap cherry perfume into a cup of coffee brewed from burnt coffee sludge. I've finished some bad cups of coffee in my days, but I gave up on this one after five sips.

I'd give it more stars if I could! This is a rich coffee with an amazing taste of pecans. My wife and I have bought it for several yr's now and just discovered it on Amazon at a price that's better than the only other source I could get it from. It's been a hit with everyone we've served it to. It's a very fine grind, so it takes less than most other brands of premium coffee to brew the perfect pot, making it an even better value.

I can no longer consume caffeine, and I love the taste of French vanilla coffee. Not ready to mourn the loss, I tried this decaf. Wow! It smells amazing, to the point where everyone who has smelled it has commented. The taste is sublime, not bitter, not artificial, not overwhelming. I have to stop myself from drinking the entire bag in one day. It is definitely on par with the other flavored coffee I have imbibed. I have already purchased two more bags.... One star off for the cost, though. $1/ oz is a little steep.

I've been drinking Cameron's Organic Breakfast Blend for years on and off and I recommend it. I like to "mix it up" a bit. I've been wanting to try the Kona Blend and this Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend just to see if maybe they were as good and hopefully better than my 'usual' Breakfast Blend. The price was right so I bought one bag of each.Even though the price was right, the coffee wasn't, either one. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't buy either. It wasn't even worth the $5.79 or so that I paid for each. There couldn't have been even a hint of Jamaican BM or Kona or anything good for that matter. I had one pot of each blend and almost drank the whole thing but, neither got any better. Both were total crap in my opinion. Cheap Cheap Cheap. I threw away the rest of the bags. Don't buy.I would have given this 5 stars for the Breakfast Blend but, since all reviews are lumped together, screw that. All will get a one star.

I have been trying several of the flavors of this brand since purchasing the one with cinnamon and loved it.I have had several guests comment on how good it is and enquire what brand it is. I plan to purchase several as Christmas gifts as it seems each flavor is consistantly full in both body flavor. You can tell you're drinking something, not like thin watery feeling coffee. It makes a great cup of coffee in body, texture and flavor is usually in any flavor I have tried. The cost is GREAT too.I didn't care as much myself for this flavor but I'm sure that is due to my personal taste because again, a guest commented on how the coffee was and wanted to know the brand. The 4 stars reflect my personal taste buds. It just seemed to be a bit odd but still good coffee.
