Callaway Hex Chrome Plus Golf Ball, (One Dozen)

great ball good distance and good stopping power on the green, love the color. My favorite ball is still the Hex chrome without the plus. I only have a 90 to 95 swing speed, I believe the plus is for 105 plus. But this ball is (hex chrome) balls are my go to ball when I find them on sale... Even better than the bridgestone e6... I don't know if they are worth the extra money that you pay over the bridgestone but they seem to go about 10 yards longer off the tee and with a little more green side spin...

I am a mid-to-high single digit handicap and have played mostly Callaway Golf Balls for many years now, mixing in different brands as they come out with new products. These are by far the best I have ever played from Callaway. I really like their feel off the club face and the control I have with my irons and wedges. They have given me much more confidence when approaching the greens, knowing that the ball will react the way I want it to. They have a firm feel when hit properly, which works with my swing. I prefer the solid feeling over something softer. The Hi-Vis Yellow allows makes it much easier to track through the air and find on the ground. I have yet to lose one that isn't currently sitting at the bottom of a pond.My only complaint is the occasional scuffing of the ball. Some balls I have used multiple rounds without any marks. Others have scuffed within one or two iron shots. I even managed to cut one with a wedge shot. I don't know if these are outliers. I will have to find out as I get more play with them. As someone who doesn't mind a minor scuff or scratch, they do not detract in any way from my overall satisfaction with this golf ball. I have damaged many more balls bouncing them off of trees or the cart path than through scuffing on normal swings.

I am a loyal Hex Chome user with a 97-100 mph driver swing speed. By no means a power hitter. The Hex Chrome Plus is just a little too much ball for my game - compared to the Chrome I lost distance, carry, and some feel. It has plenty of spin around the greens and putts well, you just need the power to get the most out of it. For moderate swing speeds the Hex Chrome is likely the better option.

I play a B-330, and I like it better, but when it comes to a value ball, this is it! If you have a good swing speed (over 105), you will get a great performing ball. Why four stars? What I don't care for is that off the driver, it can feel a bit rocky.The yellow version is very visible. I keep these around as my provisional ball. Well recommended for the price.

My favourite ball. Good feel, good distance. Shame about the price. Discontinued by Callaway. Replaced with SR2. Also very expensive just under $50AUD. Will only buy at discount. Looking at similar balls on discount eg Srixon Z Star currently on special at $78AUD for 3 boxes.

Pretty decent ball for the fall. Not a ton of spin but decent. I love the bright color of the yellow and it doesn't have the "plastic look cover" like other colored golf balls do..
