Tear Gas

I've purchased thousands of blues/rock lps, cds, cassettes and 8 tracks since the 60's. I thought I heard it all. With YOU TUBE I discovered how much music I missed during mid 60s to the mid 70s. When I heard the first TEAR GAS album I knew I had to buy it.

Finally a company has decided to re release these old Tear Gas efforts and I'm really glad they did. Some amazing guitar on this for sure.

Excellent album!

The 2nd album of Glasgow-based band from the 70s (as indistinguished as the first  Piggy Go Getter ). The band is (was) known as: (a) an embryo of Sensational Alex Harvey Band - in future; (b) guitarist Zal Cleminson - much later featured of two good albums by "Nazareth"; (c) an original drummer of Ritchie Blackmore's "Mandrake Root". Album is considered as collector's item - show this collector to me...

I used to listen to this band when I was much younger and to hear them on the cds that I recently bought just brings back the music of my youth which I quite enjoyed . Some of the members of this band then went on to form The Sensational Alex Harvey Band .

This album took me back in time, my bedroom with posters from the Sounds and Melody Maker covering up every inch of wallpaper, my old blue record player playing the original vinyl of this, great album.

If you loved SAHB, if you loved Nazareth, if you loved Schenker, if you know anything about Scottish rock history, you'll have been looking for a copy of this. Buy it.
