Add this to your routine - you won’t be sorry!
I love LOVE LOVE this stuff! A month ago I almost had a panic attack when it showed that this toner was ‘not currently available’ - those dreaded words on Amazon! I went so far as to try to find it on eBay but thankfully you restored this product again. I would suggest to stock up 2 at a time - just in case. Now for all the reasons you should be using this product. If you are in your 20s/30s and older you should be using this product. This product and acid toners in general help to exfoliate the skin/pores without using heavy abrasives. So you are literally exfoliating daily in a genial manner and your skin will be glowing as a result. I would say its *similar* but not exactly the same as the cult fave Biologique Recherche Lotion P50. I say similar because they both contain lactic acid and another acid like glycolic or salicylic. P50 is by far the caviar of toners in both cost and results. Recently Pixi Glow Tonic was said to be its ‘dupe’ - Pixi Glow Tonic is a 5% glycolic acid toner. I used Pixie Glow tonic and for 5% acid in a 3 oz bottle at $15, I felt as though I wasn’t getting my moneys worth. So I started to search on Amazon - found this product and right away I noticed a difference. Yes - you might want to ease into this toner if you have never used an acid before. I already started on the 5% and then moved up to this 10% and I will never go back. I have noticed not only does my skin look clear but I rarely if ever have any adult pimples/breakouts/blackheads/etc minus the slight Rosacea flare up on my nostril (don’t use this toner on places like that!) I definitely noticed a difference when I ran out of this toner and Amazon wasn’t selling it for a hot second - my skin looked dull and was all over really flaky and this was in Sept BEFORE the cold front and the heat was turned on. Once I started using this toner again - man, my skin almost did a bounce back.If you are into anti-aging or wanting to revamp/ramp up your skin routine - this is what I would purchase. This is your helper/workhorse.Another word to the wise - this toner (in my opinion) should be treated like a Retin A product....if you use it in the mornings (like I do), wait until its dried on your skin/apply your serums, etc. then put that sunscreen on. Always ALWAYS wear the sunscreen if you are using this/Retin A or any other skin treatments.

Great for Sensitive, Combination Skin!
I've been using this product for over a week now. It doesn't dry out my skin, and it's very gentle. I'm very particular about what I apply to my skin, since it's so sensitive and acne prone. I spent a lot of time reading about the product, and reading about each ingredient on websites like "Paula's Choice" and "Good Guide." Not a single ingredient was called out as concerning or dangerous! There is a small amount of alcohol, but according to my research, it's necessary to keep the product at a nice consistency, and keep it easy to use. And in small quantities, it can actually be good (really, read about it!). So not concerned at all.I've been using twice a day with no noticeable increase in dryness, yet the product has dramatically reduced the excess oil buildup. It doesn't dry the skin, it's balancing the skin's pH (which goes up with oils, the toner brings it down), so no worries on drying out dry skin. In addition, like any good new product, it's really pulling the junk out of my skin, making it easy to clear. As the dermatologist says, you gotta wait 3 months before deciding that a product isn't working. The breakouts you get from a new product likely mean the product is doing it's job! Be patient with the process. Yes, it's hard to do!When applied, there's a small tingle (a good sign). Some reviewers have noted the smell. It is admittedly strong at first, but after a few applications, I don't even notice it. As someone who recently had sinus surgery, I'm definitely sensitive to smell. A friend of mine used it, and made no comments on the smell. For those wondering why not Salicylic acid...Glycolic acid is very similar except that the molecules are much smaller, making them much more effective. Maybe an oversimplification, but that's basically it. At 10% Glycolic acid, this is an ideal strength. In toner form, the Glycol acid is more effective. Bonus points, the product contains Lactic acid as well.Very happy with my purchase overall! LAVO has made a believer out of me. The best part? It's a fraction of the price of some designer brands, and I bet this bottle will last at least 2 months, even with twice daily applications.Good luck with your clear skin endeavors fellow citizens!

Product is great, but availability is not
I love this toner, it works really well for me in conjunction with the rest of my skincare routine. I have a very oily T-zone that is prone to breaking out, and it's been a struggle trying to find products that help. There are plenty of products that don't make things worse, but hard to find stuff that lessens the breakouts. The only problem with this product is that it's often unavailable for unpredictable periods of time. During the times when this product is unavailable, I've had no choice but to try other toners to see if there's one that works just as well for me. Unfortunately for me, the ones I have tried so far are not as effective as this one. If only the availability was more consistent, I would rate this 5 stars.
