H&N Sportpellets

Very uniform, clean pellets that shoot quite well out of my Beeman Black Cub Dual Caliber 1022 and Isaazon B3 .22. They are a snug fit in both air gun's breech , which is what I prefer for a good seal to maximize air thrust from the spring pistons. However due to the rounded head shape of the H&N EXCITE pellet and the under lever breech set up of the Isaazon, they are a bit of a struggle to seat in the breech .IMHO pointed pellets work best in the Isaazon for this reason as the point helps orientate the pellet more easily. I recently bought a few tins of the H&N Excite SPIKE that gave very good results.My Issazon B-3 prefers the 200 GENERAL Brand Chinese pellets that were included with that rifle, but RWS Superpoint Extra Field Line pellets and H&N Excite SPIKE pellets work amazingly well.Well back to the H&N Excite domed pellets. Again they are clean,uniform , and hit hard accurately from the two air rifles mentioned. At the current great price per tin make these a no-brainer and good buy for me.

I have a ruger blackhawk pellet rifle and it shoots these pellets the best out of all the other ones that ive tried and i have tried a lot of others. I have been killing starlings at 50 to 75 yards with these things no problem. Just bought 3 more cans.

These shoot very consistent finally able to get the scope sighted dead on at 50 feet.Group the size of a nickel. (70 years old, some shaking. Love old age. ) Using other brands figured it was my age. Now sighted correctly even the others shoot good. Best group with the others is now a quarter size group, better than the 3 inch groups I was getting. Ordering more right now. Rather strong smell when opened, probably the cleaning fluid they rinse them off with. Left outside with lid off, took care of the smell.

This are fantasticly accurate pellets, they are not very high BC for domes my fifty yard avg B.C works out to .0210. They are very very accurate out to roughly 65 yards but the mid range BC will cause the pellet to drop quickly and be affected by wind and scrub energy off fairly quickly.. If you need a very accurate in a lot of guns pellet for a max of 65 yards these are worth a try. I have a custom built 47ftlb double Disco that is built on a laminated thumb hole TARGET stock, custom cut LW barrel W/11 degree target crown to fit the custom CNC-ed multi shot breach (it uses Mrod mags) with full shroud, custom polished and tuned Mrod trigger and a leupold VX-3 8.5-25x40 scope. This gun will shoot with any FT gun out there, it's as accurate as a 4800 dollar full custom .22 based on a Air Arms gun I had built that's 4800.00 without scope. And this is it's pellet of choice, it will out shoot any other pellet I've ran through it (about 55 different pellets) with the Hammers. The H& FTTs will out shoot these in the Disco past 75 yards but inside of 70 these things are magic in that gun. On a calm day it will shoot 65 yard 10 shot groups in the .35 to .40 CtC range staying sub MOA 10 shot groups at 100 but with the FTTs, the Hammers will group in the 1.5 moa range at 100 and drop about 10 inches more then the FTTs BUT the Hammers are absolutely tack drivers inside of 70 yards. Air Arms guns like them very much to but none of my Daystates shoot them very well.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE! Review, I'm going to add a star because I've used nearly an entire tin and find the pellets to be accurate in my rifle. Even the beat up pellets fly pretty good. I like these domed pellets alot. I'm just a bit ticked off at how beat to crap the tins are. (See my video and picture) The pellets are DAMAGED also. These appear to be slightly marked down tins that were sitting in a warehouse for a LONG time. The pellets themselves appear tarnished. I feel this is false advertising. That said, I like the accuracy and how hard hitting they are.OLD REVIEW BELOW.All 4 tins look like they were tossed off a mountain. In this condition, I DONT think its worth the good price.However if you want to roll the dice (take a chance) you may get a better delivery than I did.Many of th pellets are DAMAGED!I gave it TWO stars because the good pellets do shoot well.In fairness, even the sone of the DAMAGED ones shot well.I think these may have been damaged pre-delivery and they are trying to get rid of them. If this is the case, they should just tell the customer that the price reflect the condition of the pellets. In my case they dont.Are you feeling Lucky??

When most people thing of H&N, they think of two things: Superb, but a little pricey- Well, these Excite Hammer Domed pellets are superb, but at a very inexpensive price. I'm just a basement plinker, so I can't comment on whether they're capable of quarter sized groups at 25 or 50 yards. I've used them in both my Hatsan Vectis, and Hatsan Jet, without any problems. At this price, there's no reason to not try them- One can never have too much ammo.

IF you need .22 pellets for whatever, then buy this. They are not only very reasonably priced, but exactly what is recommended. Have owned .17's and this was the first .22. This pellet is the bomb!
