The Handle is a Bit Short But...
I needed a strap wrench to help with aligning parts on certain sporting goods that have a reputation for ill intent with some members of the public. I have limited space on the pegboard above my workbench and it definitely fits great. The strap is made of some typed of material that is super grippy which is good but it does take a high level of patience to adjust its size. Over all I love it because the grippiness (spelling? grippitude?) is awesome. Just remind yourself of that when trying to adjust it. Also it wasn't outrageously priced for a Klein tool

Too big for my oil change
I originally bought it to change my oil filter. Bought the 12" because I thought that was length of the strap..turns out it's the length of the handle lol. Oops. Wasn't able to use it as I was hoping but kept for future needs.

I thought it was terrible, until I realized how to use it
Kind of an embarassing thing for me to admit, but may help others, is that I used this strap wrench two or three times and couldn't get it to do what I needed it to each time. I found it to be ridiculous when trying to run the loose end of the strap through the buckle and get it wrapped tight before wrenching with the handle due to the material of the strap. This strap has a lot of grip, and when it comes into contact with itself it will feel like trying to slide two pieces of shipping tape against each other.Eventually I said to myself there's no way this wrench is this terrible. I decided to try looping the strap in the opposite direction of the way it was coiled up when I received it. The strap material does have memory, so it felt a little unnatural to roll it in the opposite direction. Well, not only did it slide through the buckle a whole lot easier, I was able to get it way tighter around the workpiece than before. I spun the handle and laughed at how easy it was (and at myself).Save yourself the trouble and disdain for this tool and don't run it through the buckle in the direction that you receive it from Klein. They even show pictures of the strap running in both directions on their website, which is definitely weird. YOU WANT to have the bitter-end (loose-end) to be passing through the buckle in the opposite direction of where you will be pulling the handle. If you run the strap in the same direction as your pull, not only does that no make sense for tightening but also the strap will run into its-grippy-self and make it near impossible for you to tighten it some more. I don't know why Klein sets you up for failure with this.

Worked great!
Needed to remove stuck spout nut on my kitchen faucet. The nut has a chrome smooth finish. At first wrench was slipping, so wrapped duct tape around nut and wrench worked perfectly. Saved lots of $ not having to call a plumber!

It works like it should, and worked well.
The wrench works great when you follow the instructions on how to use it. I used mine to secure the impeller on our pool pump so I could unscrew it from the pump motor shaft. It came out with a fight, but I managed to win. The strap wrench held tight and made the job much easier. The strap seems to be made well and has a tough but pliable feel to it. The rubbery coating grips really well. I understand that it can be difficult to use if you have never used a strap wrench before, so just make sure you understand the instructions on how to wrap it to make it work and it will serve you well. I would recommend.

Works Better For larger objects
I bought the Klein Tools S-6H Grip-It Strap Wrench to tighten a suppressor on that would keep coming loose. It did not work because the strap was too stiff, and the suppressor slippery. I sent it back and Amazon made it very easy, just take it to a UPS store and drop it off. If the strap had been more flexible, I am sure it would have worked perfectly.

Great Tool for Removing Office Chair Cylinder (with some duct tape)
I need to remove the pneumatic cylinder from office chair mechanism. Purchased an 18" pipe wrench, but the jaws just won't grip onto the polished surface of the piston.I hoped for better results from the strap wrench, but the strap also won't grip, urethane-covered strap did not help. I suppose the reason could be the small diameter of the piston.Only after applying some duct tape did I managed to grip onto and loosen the cylinder.

Super Flimsy
Should have paid attention to all the reviews that said how flimsy this was. Husband said he'll still use it for some things though so that's a plus.

So far so good..
I am an industrial electrician working in northern Canadian climates. First off the tool is made well, the material of the strap itself is is resistant enough to the cold that the "rubbery plastic" isn't affected and you can still use it without worrying about damaging the tool. It grips well. I got it for when your in extremely awkward positions trying to tighten the odd tech connector with basically no other option to get the job done. Tough to get them as tight as you would with some channel locks etc. But I am quite happy to have it in the bag. It's quite small and very light so it makes no difference carrying it around. Guaranteed to come in handy in the future. A touch expensive.

Doesn't work on smooth metal surface finish
I bought this primarily to tighten/loosen my 16C collets (1.9" diameter) to a back stop but the strap could not get any purchase on the smooth surface. I tried wrapping it around the external threads instead but still no luck. A rubber strap worked with ease. This might work fine on ribbed surfaces or rougher surfaces, but was completely useless on smooth metal surface finish.

Not that big or strong
I used this to remove a stubborn oil filter on a Honda. In the end it was not strong enough to loosen the filter, the red band stretches too much. Tool is well made but a bit lightweight for this use.

Not at all like the ridgid version
It was a lot smaller and lighter than I thought. It works ok on connectors up to 1” as far as I’ve tried. The red plastic strap slips occasionally on the alum. Teck connectors.

Great little strap wrench
Nice and small. No marks on teck connectors with these. With the small handle you won’t over tighten connectors.
