The media could not be loaded.          I like laser sights on my home defense guns and on my carry guns. They help to improve my shooting and in critical and stressful situations it just helps your confidence to know that you are targeting correctly. When accuracy counts you have to make sure that you know what you are doing. I have used 4 different styles of laser sights over the years and I liked this one’s design as my newest 2 guns have mini rails under the barrels. This sight is easy to install and it is easy to adjust the windage and elevation settings.A great feature for this particular laser sight is that it is a green laser and very bright. It is much easier to see in the daylight and in the dawn, dusk or night time situations than a red laser. I liked this sight so much that I purchased 2 of them as they were on a great sale price and I have several weapons that I wanted to install lasers on.What’s in the box?• The laser itself• Two rail side mounting clamps• Four rail inserts to allow you to mount the rail mounted laser on multiple types of guns and rifles. The inserts are numbered and in the manual is a table to tell you which insert to use for your type of gun. (I show this in my video)• Two long mounting screws to mount the laser to your weapon.• Two lens wiping swabs• A small tool that you use to adjust the windage and elevation settings.• A battery that is a DL 1/3N 3V Lithium battery. Please note that you can register with Crimson Trace and get one free replacement battery once per year. The batteries are also available on Amazon and I have a small stock of them as multiple lasers and red dot scopes that I own use this same battery. The battery life for this green laser is two hours of continuous on time.• A battery cover.• An installation manual with set up instructions.• A gun safety warning sheet.• A warranty registration card and the warranty is for 3 years.• Two laser warning labels that you are requested to put onto your weapon.The laser is simple and easy to install and the adjustments are easy to make. The sight has ambidextrous switches to turn on the laser and the basic mode is constant on/off. If you press the switches on both sides of the laser for 3 seconds you can select the momentary on mode or the strobe mode and then back to the constant mode. It is a 3 second press of both switches to step to the next mode. The first thing I did was insert the battery and the positive terminal of the battery is installed facing down towards the battery cover. Do not shine the laser into your eyes as it is very bright and it can damage your eyesight. Make sure that the laser mounting screws are tightened but do not strip them as they are small. Some people noted that you may have to use Blue Loctite to secure the screws but I have not had that issue with mine. I always mount items so that the piece that fits between the rail guides is setting on the back of the rail slot so the gun recoil does not move what you are mounting. I show this in my video.This is a good product and I like it a lot. It was priced extremely well and I could not pass up buying several of these for my guns. Easy to install, easy to operate. Fitment good on my Taurus. Alignment without sighting the laser in was really good.

I started to struggle with my eyes needing "cheaters" for reading. This made it difficult to shoot. I tried shooting glasses with 1.5 magnification which helps with seeing the front sight but the target down range is then blurry. With a laser I can use normal eye protection and just find the laser on the target. Works great!

This is the first laser sight I have ever bought but it is amazing!!It attaches to the gun very easily and to turn it on, all you do is tap one of two little wings and bam, it's on!!

I tried 2 other lasers before CT and quickly returned them. One I couldn’t adjust adequately to zero it in, and the other went flying off the pic rail no matter how tight I had the fastening screws. The CT loses a star for being a pain to install, at least on my pistol (Ruger SR22). The screws and gadget itself are too small for my big, clunky hands and it took about an hour to get it right. Messing around with replaceable batteries vs. rechargeable doesn’t excite me. Rechargeables have their problems, but overall seem more sensible than throw aways that the CT require. What I like: nice and bright, it stays zeroed in with use, and it’s way easier to use than messing with focusing on rear/front sights and the target which for my 68 year old eyes is more difficult than it used to be. Use the laser and I focus where I’m aiming, ez pz. And my accuracy went from all over the place (left photo) to much tighter groups (right photo) in just 16 days and on my third trip to the range (same distance, 7 yards). I’m keeping it aimed parallel to the bore, with no zero point, so I know where to aim regardless of distance (about 1.5 inches down). And the cluster of shots to the right of the bullseye (I’m left handed) has disappeared as I’ve worked on my trigger control since that photo was taken. So I’m happy with it.

Nice addition for any lighting situation. Quick acquisition. If you have issues adjusting look for info on recalibration. Worked for me.

Perfect fit for my HK P2000sk 9mm. It comes with 4 brackets to use if the stock one doesn't fit your gun. They have a cool guide that comes with it that shows you which number bracket to use for your specific gun. 2 was the one recommended for mine and it fits like a glove - super tight, firm, and sturdy. I absolutely love how you can adjust it and the placement of the buttons on each side are perfect for me. It's a nice strong bright green laser that is very clear. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Amazing piece of technology. This crimson trace is by far my favorite. Mounted on to my Springfield xd 9mm sub compact. Not the mod. Original xd 9mm sub compact SA•XD. The green crimson trace laser is. It is no bigger than a quarter in length, height and width. I wish they made one for the trigger but had to go with this one and I’m quite pleased. It is extremely bright. At night time I can shine that laser a few blocks away and see green luminescence. I don’t have anything bad to say about this laser. I just can’t wait until they can make one with this strength and even smaller. It does not fit completely flush with my gun but looks so well it wouldn’t even bother me or any one else who puts it on that gun. My picatinny Rail on the gun is just really small. So impressed. So excited and I just couldn’t have gone with a better purchase. You get what you pay for. Never go red. Only green and don’t buy a cheap off brand. The power isn’t as strong
