I like Nordic Naturals for my vitamins because of the quality, so naturally I wanted this for my baby. High quality without a bunch of unnecessary extra ingredients. It is as easy to dispense as a thick essential oil. Tip the bottle and just give it a few seconds. For those reviews that complain it's difficult to dispense into baby's mouth: you should probably read the instructions which specifically state NOT to dispense directly into baby's mouth. Drop onto breast or into bottle. Easy Peasy. It is also very nice that an entire daily dose is in one drop, so it is easy to measure and lasts a long time.

Great product! Really like that this only has two ingredients and that they use extra virgin olive oil vs a seed oil like the other brands. This really helped my colicky baby! I don't mind the dropper - I just dab it on the pacifier or when I'm nursing my baby.

So before I bought these we were using the vit D that has to be administered with a syringe and it was terrible. My baby gagged, spit it out, and it even looked like she was chocking sometimes. I was so hesitant to buy these because the concept was great but there are so many reviews that say the drop doesn’t fall out easily, the baby was getting more than one dose, ect. Well, to those reviews I have to say that there are so many ways to give this efficiently and effortlessly. Yes, the bottle is glass so you can’t squeeze the content out BUT it’s really not that difficult or a long wait to have the drop fall out. Plus, you don’t have to put it directly on baby’s mouth like some were saying they do. I’ve applied it to my nipple before nursing (how the pediatrician told me to do) I’ve put a drop on her paci and had her suck on it, you can even add the drop to your finger and give it to baby that way. I would never just try to dispense it directly in baby’s mouth. So I give this 5 starts because it is awesome for us!

I am an adult that needed Vit D supplementation. My stomach and body struggles with other vitamins because of all the additives, coloring, sugars and other inactive ingredients used to make the pill/gummy/etc I was so excited to find the only other ingredient was olive oil! I really wish all vitamins were made this way. I would probably be so much healthier because I would be able to take more vitamins. Plus so much easier to take. I just hold the bottle upside down with a spoon underneath and let one drop fall out after a few seconds and I am good to go! Nordic Naturals please consider making more vitamins this way :)

I love the ingredients in this product and feel safe when providing this supplement to my baby. I breastfeed exclusively and do not like to put anything in her belly that is not natural.or that could mess with the natural gut. So the fact that this is simply vitamin d and extra virgin olive oil is great. As other reviewers stated, the application can be tricky. This is not a dropper you pull out and squeeze into baby's mouth....the glass bottle itself is the applicator. Once you get the hang of it I find it easy. All we do is remove the cap, tip upside down and wait for a drop to appear. Then I dab the drop onto my nipple and the baby nurses as normal. The reason for the 4 star rating is because of the dropper system, it is hard to determine the actual serving size or if you are getting a correct dose/serving. The process seems high but there should be enough in here for a year for a single baby.

I love Nordic Naturals, and the product itself is great, but I bought this mid May, and they sent me a bottle with 365 servings that expires this September. So, I only get to use it for 4-5 months, which is half the amount I purchased. Total rip off! Update: I reached out to Amazon, and they did nothing. Fortunately, the seller was able to remedy the issue.

I’ve had other items from this brand and love them. These drops are no different. I find the easiest way to get my baby to take these is by putting a drop on my very clean finger and putting it in his mouth that way. I would not recommend waiting to use these drops when your child is hungry and you planned on putting these straight in baby’s mouth or on your nipple if you’re breastfeeding. The drops take Like 5-10 seconds to come out and you will likely have an unpleasant time trying to stay calm while you’re baby is crying because they’re hungry and you’re waiting for the drop to come out.

I love that the ingredients are cleaner than what our pediatrician prescribed.... also the 1 drop/day is so much easier than forcing 1mL through an oral syringe and having baby spit it back out
