Initial issue resolved.
I liked it for the first 4 nights and now it won’t charge. So after 4 days of use its not working correctly - wouldn’t charge. So contacted customer service and they made suggestions to trouble shoot. And this solved the issue.

Useful data collection
I have used this for two weeks now. I use it at night to record sleep data. I have also worn it during small plane flights in order to adjust the oxygen flow in a mask. It is simple to use, if you follow directions. It records a fairly large data set that can be stored and forwarded. I did have a question about calculating api values. The company answered my email promptly. People who write a negative review when they email Friday night and expect a reply before Monday are being spoiled consumers. The app for this works well on iPhones. It has already been updated since I started using it two weeks ago. I expect further refinements as time goes on.

Android app connection issues, tech support slow & unhelpful,seller not responsive to return request
I bought this to replace another ring I bought here that is too big for my finger; this one comes with adapters and the smallest one did fit my fingers. Unfortunately that was the only good thing.The ring requires an app to process the data it collects, and the app was never able to find the ring (it uses Bluetooth). I contacted SleepOn's tech support about that on Friday evening 8/16 and didn't hear back from them until Monday morning (8/20). Their English is not good but I was able to understand the instructions - which told me to do what I'd already tried more than once. They also asked for the model of my phone. I replied that it was an Android and the next message I got - the next day - said the following:"The android phones will have compatibility issue, so it may need to try a few times when connecting."I'd already tried more than a few times, and after I read about issues with Android I decided to return the device. That took a total of three calls to Amazon, two return requests, and finally an A to Z claim that the final rep filed (the seller wasn't quick to respond either but they also didn't seem to understand (more English issues) that I wanted to return the device, or maybe that wasn't possible because it came from China). My money was finally refunded on 9/13.The SleepOn app on the Google Play store has other reviews citing connection problems, so this isn't a new thing. If they can get them worked out this may be useful but until/unless they do, this device may be a waste of money for some people. (Note: I don't know how well the iOS version works so if you have an iPhone I would definitely check reviews there before you buy this.)

Invades privacy.
You have to agree that they can do anything they want with your personal information (include give your information to others) before you can activate the app.

Easy way to track my sleep
Comfortable band to wear. 3 sizes for little to big fingers. Easy way to track quality and amount of sleep. Keeps record so you can go back and see trends. Interesting to see possible apnea or toss/turn during the night.

Stopped charging
It worked for about 4-5 months and stopped charging. It was nice while it worked. I would return for warranty but can not find any info on the website.

Sleep Apnea Measurement was unbelievable
My wife had a sleep study due to AFIB diagnosis. Sleep study confirmed sleep apnea. I wanted to confirm this diagnosis and found this monitoring machine. It is terrific. It found that she had 90 episodes per night. This may be at least a contributory factor in her AFIB. I then purchased a special mouth piece that was supposed to improve her snoring. Well, to our surprise the use of this device resulted in 3 episodes per night which is normal. In home determination of sleep apnea would be huge for millions of people who snore. Many people are at risk for sleep apnea and not even know it. So, obviously think this product is very helpful all for less than $150.00 A sleep study costs big bucks.

Lots of inconsistencies
This thing is terrible and a total waste of money. I've had it for about a month and gotten maybe 5 days of data. It rarely works. I've reset, reconnected, recharged, everything I was asked to try and it will work for 2 or 3 days then it quits again. This time it won't start up again. The app has found it, connected and vibrated but when I pick it up it doesn't start. The concept was good just too bad they can't get it to work consistently. Now they say it's a problem with Android. Of course nothing in their description or advertising mentions that.
