Dorman 929-202 Rear Leaf Spring Assembly Compatible with Select Ford Models

I purchased these for a 1998 Ford Ranger 2wd..they are a perfect fit. The rear leaf springs on the truck were beginning to sag when under a load..well sag more than usual. These springs fit perfect and restored the trucks height..it did raise the rear of the truck almost 2 inches but not enough to need an alignment. I do however recommend you look at your SPR code on the drivers door to make sure you do purchase the right leaf springs. I shopped many web sites and found the same product higher priced..however the other websites like JCW have the SPR code break down and you should not have any issues when ordering the springs. Amazon had the best price on these leaf springs. Yes they are sold individually so be prepared for that when you purchase them. If you are replacing leaf springs, I do recommend replacing the front coils as well.

Broke in one and a half years

The product was great, fit fine, works good. The only gripe I had was that it shipped with now box. The item was literally loaded up with stickers and shipped naked. The item was all marred up when I got it. The stickers was a real pain in the butt to remove because there was so many of them. Ask for a box or check make it a gift maybe then you'll get a box. Whats the deal?!?!

Pros: Good price, works fine. Make sure to buy the saddle brackets and installation kit with it. Cons: Shipped the wrong one the first time. But made it right.

I did only 1 other leaf spring replacement, that being on my 1966 Mustang and also maybe 3 years ago. Being 63 years old and no garage to do this in, I was not sure if I wanted to do this. But knowing that I did it before and what was involved I deceided to proceed. It took longer than I thought it would but the 2nd side took less time. All in all I am pleased with the springs and would purchase again.

These fit perfectly on my 98 ranger. I liked how it came with bushings in the leafs already didn’t have to use the bushings I bought so ended up getting my money back for those. Great ride quality and no more noise from rear suspension. Need to load it up to see how it handles.

Leaf springs worked out perfectly. Good value for the money.

There was a major problem with shipping, it seemed to have gotten lost, and when questioned they wanted a fee to try and find it. It eventually arrived and fit well though the holes on the truck mount had to be enlarged to allow the larger mounting bolts to be used.

Perfect fit, levelled up my tired old Ranger.

Ordered two Leaf Springs-- only received one Leaf Spring. Picture from Canpar Express, only delivered one Leaf Spring-- must have two Leaf Springs for safety of vehicle. When will I receive the other Leaf Spring as to my order?
