131 Dirty Talk Examples is a refreshing book to a “very old” topic – the taboo of sex talk. Shyness, not knowing how to communicate with our partners ruins the chance for any relationship to grow. We have all experienced moments when we wish we could say something to our partner just to add a little “zing” to our relationship. This book helps give you guidelines and starting points to express yourself during those intimate moments. It also is reassuring to know others also get a little silly or nervous when they think of things that want to say to their partner. I found that relating to the ideas written in the book also gave me a little courage to be more expressive. It’s well worth a read and great reminder at the end of the book! It’s wise to remember this advice. Grab the book and give it a read you are bound to find something that will help you communicate better with your partner too!

This would be a great book for someone that is on the shy side, has never had phone sex, or talked dirty. It's a good, solid collection of sexy phrases and succinct explanations for why they work. As far as being a beginner's book, I think it falls a little short on how to describe what you're doing, going to do, or want done to you. But if you want to learn how to dirty talk or want liberate your partner into expression, this will suit your needs. It's not for the experienced, though. If you've had a fair share of phone sex, you won't find anything new here. It's a quick read, I finished it in about 15 minutes, but that may be because most of the phrases are things that I have heard and already say. Not much kinky stuff. I only found one phrase in the entire book that I had never heard before (#128). I bought this looking for new ideas, so I was a little disappointed. But I would definitely recommend it to newcomers or those that need a refresher. Update 7/20/15 - Wanted to come back here to share an insight I had about talking dirty. There's nothing worse than a predictable lover. All the hottest things that have ever been said, the things that really get people going or make them climax in an instant are... completely unfiltered, unedited. They are speaking exactly what is felt, direct responses to what the partner responds well to. It's instinctual. There's an element of unpredictability in the heat of the moment, the I-can't-believe-he-just-said-that kind of thrill. So in summary, good dirty talk is hot because 1) it shows your partner how in tune you are to them and 2) it's unpredictable. Don't go by what they found hot last time, go by what they moan to this time. Above all else, go by how enthusiastically your partner responds to your words and DON'T FILTER YOURSELF. Say exactly what you think in the tone you thought it in. If your partner likes teddy bears, talk teddy bears. When they respond well to a certain idea, take the idea a step further. If they don't respond as enthusiastically, don't sweat it, just take it back a step and go in a different direction. Let your instincts take over. I think this concept is applicable to good sex in general.

This book is an excellent idea for a person who is not comfortable with erotic conversations. If you are comfortable talking smack over shots, you can skip the entire first 75% of the book. It’s written in a progressive way which helped bc at the end of the (quick) read, there’s a tolerance you develop which works nicely. Might be a fun book for a bachelorette party or wedding gift

Not a bad book, tells you how to work your yourself as well as your partner into talking nasty. I tried it a few times especially the self esteem boosters with some touching and I'm seem to get a positive response. My issue is I get so caught up focusing on strokes I forget to talk. But this book does give you a foundation on what to say how to say it. Which at times put us men into a uncomfortable situation instead of satisfying one. All in all a ok book for the money.

This book attempts to explain the importance of talking dirty with your partner, and how you shouldn’t be ashamed of it. There are reasons mentioned why you should try talking sexy to your partner, as well as ideas on how to start incorporating it into your routine. The most helpful part of the book are the lines that are given as examples you can use, which number over 100, are pretty easy to utilize, cover a wide range of topics and situations, and come with extra pointers. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a little help spicing up their life in the bedroom, and doesn’t know where to start.

It was okay. I expected something written more along the lines of creative dirty talk-- and instead I just read what seems like a lot of repetition. For example "take your big.... and I love your tight.... I love it when you..." It just wasn't very original. It seemed like lines from all the PG-13 movie you've ever seen. Like some have said it's a good primer for someone very sheltered (like someone Amish) but that's it.

I'm satisfied with the examples from this book. It's better to re-read them though, because most of them you can forget after a while :) Worth reading
