It had its "quality checked" tape on it. After I took it it had scratches and marks all over it. I figured whatever I'll put it on. Then I realized oh this isn't the product I ordered. Instead of being the traingulated bottom as seen in the picture, I received some squid head looking thing that has three triangular flares at the bottom. Okay I thought, that looks a little wonky, but whatever. Then I noticed how large the thing was! The windscreen looks normal on a 300f so I'm thinking it'll be an excellent sized fit for my cb1000r! NNOPE! Its huuuuge! It sits about 12-14" taller than the bars! What did I receive? So I figured, I have it, lets throw it on the bike and see what it looks like.Well the process took 2 hours, the bar clamps, SUCK! they both broke while I was tightening them down, the metal nut, stripped the inside of the bracket that it slides into so I cannot loosen or tighten them, their permanently attached to my bars now unless I cut them off. On top of this wonderful experience, this is probably the most obnoxious windscreen I've ever had the misfortune of putting on.So after all that's said and done ( just in case you're curious i did have to use a hammer to pound the bar clamps on the bar after they broke because I couldn't get them on/off).IT LOOKS TERRIBLE, AWFUL!From the cockpit, not bad, from the front... Lets jusy say, a birth defect.This was an unfortunate waste of my time and money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great buy. One of the best investments on my bike. *by Q***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2015* Man, I love this thing. It works, and make my bike looks bad-ass to boot. I ride a "beginer" bike: CB300F, naked sport. The universal mounts fit great. Just follow the included instruction. I commute 20 miles in 60-70 mph traffic daily, and before I got the screen, the wind was pretty much hitting me square in the chest and peeling me off the bike. With the screen, the wind is skimming off the top of my helmet. I can hear a little bit of buffeting wind noise, but not so much that it's uncomfortable. Keep in mind I am only 5'6", if you are taller and lankier, the wind protection might not work as well. I also have the lowered / shaved Honda seat, so I do sit about 1" lower, at least according to Honda. If I remember, I will update this post with a picture in the spring when I take my bike out of storage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product, slightly misleading listing *by B***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 24, 2016* Very pleased with buying and shipping experience, arrived before estimated date. I would, however, like to remark on the "Universal" part of the listing. While it's true that you can install this on any bike that has handlebars, I later discovered that Puig makes the Rafale line of windscreens for bike specific applications. The 5881F, for instance, I believe is made for the FZ8. While I still like the functionality and style it provides my Honda 599, I think this fact should be mentioned in the listing title and description.
