I have a "gaming" laptop with vents on the back. What I wanted:Quiet, heat-resistant, laptop pad with fans for added benefit (this laptop gets quite hot at the back center, but only affects performance in long sessions or when the vents are covered).This pad works great, fits my 17" laptop perfectly. It has some functions built-in for keeping the laptop in place, but there are 50,000 laptop pads of this exact ilk and price on Amazon. I just got this one for the size and price. I gave 4 stars in "For Gaming" simply because my laptop is designed for heat ventilation horizontally outwards unlike many other laptops with vents facing downwards but the fans seem pretty gentle overall (I have not explored ALL of the fan settings, so take this with a grain of salt). The cooling aspect of this was peripheral, but if this cooling pad is the difference between your laptop running well or not, then the issue is your laptop.I like this a lot. I don't like RGB, but because of the design, it is barely noticeable. In fact, I really like it on this, because it indicates that the pad is on. The fans are actually so quiet that I don't know it's on unless the RBG is peeking out.The USB is short and on the back-right hand side of the pad. This could be a problem if you have no USB ports on that side.This was 100% plug n play with no real installation. Plug in the USB and it works.Fan control is via a circular rear rotating switch. It sticks out about 1/4" so it's unassuming. I thought it was a wire at first.RGB control is via a front and center touch button. If you're particular about your RGB, this is going to bug you. If using a touchpad, you are likely going to touch the RGB buttons and change the color patterns, but for me, it's forgettable and sometimes I like accidentally touching the button and getting new colors. Like I said, I don't like RGB, so this is just a nice, unassuming aesthetic touch. The colors are behind thick plastic around the rim, so there's very little glare. The fans themselves are almost always covered by the laptop, so I never notice the RBG from the fans until I remove the laptop, in which case it's standard.I often game while laying down, so this is great for your lap.Construction quality is the only semi-negative factor. I wasn't expecting some crazy high-quality construction, but the thin plastic over the fans is flimsy. I don't think it will break on its own, but I heard the fan blades clicking when I squeezed the laptop pad. I wasn't testing anything, just moving it, so just be careful and it should last a while structurally. 4 stars for "Light Weight" for this reason.

This does two positive things. It does help keep the laptop cool, (from over heating) and act as a lap or mini stand whilesetting in a confort chair, or even the bed.

I have a pesky work laptop that will give me the hardest time to turn back on. So, I keep the screen on lock for the most part and wanted to make sure the laptop wasnt going to heat up and cause more issues. I ordered this because it was reasonably priced and seemed to have good reviews!It came next day in bubble wrap in a thin box, wrapped in an Amazon envelope. It has a long enough USB to plug into your laptop and I counted -- it has 15 led light settings. Which, a very cool touch feature to change it or turn it off. The 3 fans are super quiet!! That is fantastic when I'm trying to work on things, I like there is a tiny knob-switch to turn it on and off and adjust how many fans are going. I think one of my three isn't working all the time properly but I really don't need the third one. I have an HP ENVY 360 Laptop brand new. The base of this fan that the laptop sits on is magnetic so your laptop ain't going anywhere. There is an adjustable position for this fan to have an angle to sit at or be flat. Would totally recommend this. It looks cool and actually works nicely!Today is Jan.25.2022: two years later. Lights have always worked but I think traveling with it has caused one or two of the fans to become lose. So it sounds really loud and bangs when I plug it in to my laptop. Luckily, my laptop is a HO Envy and it doesn't overheat like at all. I still love this thing though.

It works well as intendedPros: it definitely cools my laptop which has two 1070s in it that make it real hot. Fits a full 17.3inch. lights look pretty cool and the wheel mechanic to change the fan speed is probably the best design in a laptop cooler yet. It's much quieter compared to other laptop coolers.Cons: it's a bit weaker than most coolers. The fans are located in a frustrating position. It would be nice if they had two fans at the top and 1 fan on the bottom. Because of this, my laptop still gets hot in the upper two corners. I have no idea what the logic was when they placed the fans this way. Most laptops don't need air on the bottom side... But whatever. Oh the rubber pieces on the bottom? Don't expect them to stay. Those come off within the first 3 days. I use it at work sometimes and to turn off the obnoxious rgb lights u have to cycle through all of them before getting to the off option. And I have to do it again every time I accidentally disconnect it.Overall it works well. I'm satisfied with the purchase. I ended up buying a different one for work because of the lights. I could've easily dealt with the lights but just doesn't seem professional.

Just here to echo the same sentiment as all the other reviews. This company is outstanding, and even better is its cooling pad. In 2020, I purchased the older model with the mesh metal cover and no LED lights. But It stopped working suddenly, so I gave it to my son for lap support. When I called HAVEIT, they refunded me the total amount— I purchased a new one from the same company. This new RGB pad has the same functionality with the added aesthetic of LED light. It's soundless, works excellent, and looks fabulous. If you’re in the market, get it.

Okay so this is day one of getting it and it is amazing for the money, I did my research and this is the one I went with and as of right now I do not regret it. It looks nice and is built pretty well, it brought my temperatures whole gaming by almost 25 degrees (F°) and even though you can’t feel much air on the hand it does an extremely well job of helloing my laptop out. If anything negative happens I’ll be sure to come back and let y’all know but for now i am extremely satisfied with the product .
