Great vent shades with quick and easy installation.
The vent shades arrived two days after ordering. I read the install instructions and went outside to install the vent shades. I started on the passenger side back and continued to the final shade, which was for the driver side front. I noticed the vent shade was cracked about 3 inches from the edge. I had already installed the other three shades, so i requested another driver side front shade. I was given a return label, but could not find anywhere to tell the seller that i only needed the front passenger side vent shade, so i will wait and see if they send me a complete package, then i can send the remaining vent shades back to them. The vent shades fit great and were very easy to install. I had to make an adjustment or two to get the window to roll up, but after making adjustments everything worked great. All i need is the driver side front vent shade to make my truck look nicer and be able to have my window cracked when it is raining. This is a really good product that is easy to install. Everything needed to install the vent shades is included in the package with the installation instructions as well. I would recommend this product, even though one of the vent shades was cracked. That could have happened during shipping or handling, and i can't hold it against the product, which is a really good product. Things happen, so i gave this product five stars because of the quality of the product, ease of installation, quick shipping and quick replacement for the one that was cracked. I will purchase this item again if i need to for other vehicles and tell my friends about it.

Great appearance, easy install.
I had similar vent visors on our previous vehicle so I was glad to find these for our current Nissan Frontier. The mounting instructions were clear except for the rear window visors where it talks about the flange going between the rubber and the support. The picture showing this is too small to see exactly what they were describing. Regardless, I think I got it figured out. The included abrasive pad worked well. However, along with the alcohol prep pads, something flat like a craft stick or tongue depressor would help to wrap the pad around for cleaning the channel. I had a tool that worked well. Fingers are too large so this is something that should be suggested in the instructions. Once the preparation work was done, the visors went in easily. I left them for the 24 hours, and now I am ready for hot weather when I like to leave the windows open but without leaving them exposed to the elements or to make it easy for someone to push something through to open the door. They enhance the appearance of the Frontier also. The truck looks much nicer now that the, along with a Bugflector II Hood Shield, are installed.

Allow Me To... VENT... a little
I checked out various types and brands. I was most interested with "in-channel" designs like this one. I really don't like the idea of sticking stuff to the exterior paint of my truck and of the ones I've seen up-close, they look like an add-on and not part of the car. I was nervous when I first got the package. It looked big and bulky in the packaging. I was hesitant to install, but finally went for it. No real troubles installing. Clean the channels with the provided scuff sponge and wipes. As others have noted, the back windows install slightly differently than the front. But, only the side tab of the side closest to the back of the vehicle differs. This tab needs to go between the metal exterior trim of the window and where the rubber of the channel go together - not IN the channel. The rest of the tabs go directly in the channel on the remaining sides. AND make sure you aren't installing the wrong one in the back. It matters. If you dry-fit it and slowly roll your window up and it catches the visor on the left side, then you've got the wrong one in. Don't force your window up. Just bring it close and you'll see it will hit it if it's reversed. Just switch it out for the other and you should be good to go. dry-fit them all before following the instructions of peeling a couple inches from both sides and sliding into the channel and peeling the remainder of the tape. Now that they are in, definitely leave the windows up for a good, solid 24-hours, as instructed to allow the tape to bond securely to the inner channel. You're good to go after that. So, in my case, the very first full day with the ventvisors, it rained like cats and dogs on my commute home from work. I raised the windows just up past the lowest part of the ventvisors and continued on my way. I drove 45 miles with rain the whole way and not a drop in front or back was ever seen coming inside. Very impressed there. It allows fresh air in without having the windows down and it blocks the wind blowing around much more than without the ventvisor at same height. I also noticed the sound at that cracked height was a bit higher of a pitch but not as loud to me. So, overall, it does what it says in my book. I've got some accompanying pics to show you what it looks like installed on a 2018 Nissan Frontier. Now, some summary pros and cons: PROS: * Install was quick and easy * It has a low profile - it doesn't seem to stick out far from the body of my truck (see pictures) * It prevents rain from getting in while driving and having the windows cracked to allow fresh air in * I can leave my windows cracked on hot days without fear of rain getting in on a sudden shower when I'm not around CONS: * I'm not a fan of the little curved edging at the bottom of the ventvisor. I'd rather it been the same from top to bottom instead of the reverse flare. * I wish the company didn't put their logo on it. It's small but white/grey in color. I'll remove it as others have, but still a bother. I should get a discount for advertising their company :) * Some of the edges are slightly and I mean SLIGHTLY jagged or wobbly. It's really not noticeable unless I pointed it out to you. But, manufacturing could be a bit tighter in my opinion. It's not a show-stopper by any means and nobody should be returning it because of this. Just pointing out what I observed. I recommend these!

You have to be smarter than a 6 year old
AVS for 2016 Frontier Pro 4x Before ordering this item I read all the comments (1 star to 5 star) concerning the issue of “the window striking the lower part of the AVS”, cracking, rubbing. Frankly, I put a lot of stock in the opinions of people who purchase and leave feedback. For the life of me, I cannot believe that someone can buy a product and not follow the installation instructions. I had these AVS’s installed in 20 minutes, no sticking, no rubbing and no window striking on the lower part of the AVS. These work as described, follow the fracking instructions people. Scrub with the “scotchbrite” pad, clean with the alcohol pad (you would be wise to use a Popsicle stick in order to clean to the top of the rubber seal), install. Very important keep your windows closed for 24 hours. I hope this helps anyone who has read the posts with less than 5 stars, this is a great product unfortunately Amazon does not give an IQ test to its purchasers. 5 STAR PRODUCT

Went on easily, and look great. Quieter on the highway than some of the in-channel type I've had (and easier on the window motor). Was a little nervous to try a stick on type, but I am very happy so far.

The front visors went on just fine. Clean, position, peel. Done. The rear ones didn't seat properly and really only stuck with about an inch of tape. It seemed like the tape wasn't thick enough and no matter what I did it would not contact the window trim. I ended up having to buy my own 1" wide 3M VHB tape and re-do the tape on the rear visors. Haven't had a problem since.

Well, ordered these based on good reviews, for 2019 Nisan Frontier (label on the package says "2019 NIssan Frontier"), received them promptly, looked at the package to ensure I got the right product, and then got very busy. Just now got around to being able to install them, and they do not fit my truck - not even close. Well, the front shades come close, but have a small jog in the lip on the leading edge that actually goes in the wrong direction, leaving a gap between the shade and window seal which would be a failure point if I tried to force it. The rear shades are about 3" too long - certainly not for my truck. Sadly, due to my sched, I have missed the return window by a couple weeks. The product itself seems reasonably well made and I would likely have been very happy if they fit, but my advice to anyone who purchases these is to check the fit immediately, even if you cannot install them in the moment (although really they look like they'd only take about 10 minutes to install - sigh). I cannot comment on the tape/adhesive.

I like the look of them and they fit great. Read the instructions as I see some people did not and complained that they didn’t fit right.
