I honestly don't think I can do this book justice, but I'm going to try.Jaz and Ethan have my heart doing flips. Two people who didn't have a great childhood, come together and love the hell out of eachother. Jaz sticks by her man during the worst set of events. Ethan loves her harder than ever. There is no obstacle too big for these two.Friends, family and love complete their lives and they're richer for everyone of them.Go read this book. Love, hot sex and sexy as hell men. Who doesn't love that.Scott, these characters had me on the edge of my seat. I wasn't sure where you were going to take them, but it was perfect. From the way Jaz got frazzled ehdn she tried saying something serious and heartfelt to Ethan, to the way Ethan always knew what he had in her. These two were destined for eachother.Slayed Mr. Hildreth!!!!!!!

Confession time: this was my first Scott Hildreth book.Recovered from the shock yet?Now, I'm going to do my utmost best at keeping this spoiler-free, but trust me when I say this is one of my favorite books so far for 2016. By the end of the first chapter, I loved Jaz, she's one of the most kick-ass snarky young women I've had the pleasure of reading. And by kick-ass, I literally mean that (just read the first chapter to get a general idea of her badass-ness). I loved that she was street smart and it came across as realistic, not someone pretending to be all savvy about a life they don't know about.Ripp is hilarious in this book; I've seen that fans are excited that Ripp is in this story, but I had nothing to go on with him since I haven't read his story (thankfully I got a lovely big denomination Amazon gift card for my birthday!), but I will be reading his book soon. He and Ethan meet Jaz after a spontaneous demonstration of her fighting skills and Ripp becomes her trainer, and with that, Jaz's life suddenly changes for the better.Ethan, well, he is the one who manages to show Jaz that not all men are lower than slug slime. Dare I say, Ethan just might be one of the best book boyfriends I've read. Expressing feelings doesn't come easy for Jaz, but Ethan somehow works his magic with her and we get to watch Jaz become a little less guarded with her feelings. She'll still kick ass, but we get the softer, gentler Jaz.There is a surprising incident that occurs toward the end of the book that shocked the hell out of me, and I swear I might have inhaled twice until I got to the end of the book, I was even more shocked by the choice Ethan's dad wanted to pursue. Thankfully Jaz took charge and told him how it was going to be. Ethan and Jaz get their HEA and we readers get a 5-star book from Scott Hildreth!

4 Hashtag F#@K yes stars!What a thoroughly entertaining story. Jaz Briscoe is a gal down on her luck in Austin Texas. She has just been kicked to the curb, literally, by her boyfriend and is struggling to make ends meet. When a tattooed loser tries to steal her backpack she beats the crap out of him and gets the attention of Rip, a boxer and trainer. He sees something special in Jaz and offers to train her. She also meets Ethan and the attraction is instant. As she starts to train everyone realizes this girl has talent and she is quickly put in the ring and squashes her opponents. While she is finding her footing in the boxing world things with Ethan, but not everything will come easy for Jaz, she has a few obstacles left in her way as she prepares for the fight of her life.I thoroughly enjoyed this story, it's refreshingly different from any other romance I have ever read. Jaz is a great character and I just loved her! She is strong, resilient, and has a heart of gold. No matter what life throws her way she takes it in stride. Ethan was a great fit for Jaz their unconventional bedroom antics were hot, sweet, and fun. A cast of stellar supporting characters added humor and balance to this one of a kind story.

What I love about Scott's writing is that in its basic form each story is an incredible love story. Now he wraps it in some seriously scorching hot naughty, but there is still that love story threaded through it. Brawler is just that. A love story.Jaz is a fighter both in and out of the ring. In Ethan she finds her soulmate, but she also finds a family in those that train her. I love that this super strong and sassy girl who has been lost for way too long is found. Plus she and Ethan are off the charts hot with some serious sweet to boot. I loved her bond with her trainers and that we got to revisit the whole Converse thing again. Seriously hot. I fell head over heart for this brawler and I can't wait to read more.I give Brawler 5 hearts!

Brawler, by Scott Hildreth was a knock out and literally put my emotions through the wringer! I laughed, I cried, I wanted to kick ass, but mostly, I fell completely in love with Ethan and Jaz. As always, Scott’s characters are compelling. Ethan is one of the best book boyfriends out there. Jaz is a true brawler in the ring, yet struggles with expressing her emotions. Ripp, Shane and Kelsey are also back from Scott’s Un-Series in this book and are better than ever.Well written, fast paced, full of emotion . . .I couldn’t put it down. Brawler is a definite must read!

This is such a good story. Jaz and how she fell in love and gained control of her life. I was engrossed in her story from start to finish and loved it every step of the way.Definitely recommended.

Another excellent read.How one person can beat the odds, from abuse, being homeless.I admired her determination. Nothing was going to stop her from getting what she wanted!!Rips family had me in stitches, I just love that family a d the extended ones too!!

Scott Hildreth's stories are always gritty. Jaz is no fluffy princess but has a heart of gold and the tenacity of a lion. Sliding through life the best she can until she stumbles into Ripp and Ethan. Her life takes a huge turn for the better. A great story where Jaz proves love is greater than adversity and after the bad, comes the good.

I mean what's to say about a female boxer, that was pretty great how she defendet herself and won two titles after her upbringing. Good story, good love story, great Ethan.

I really enjoyed this book. Yes majority of the book was about boxing but the love story was sweet and heartfelt! I loved all the characters which means I will now have to read the Undefeated series ☺
