Backwards Clock

My only disappointment is that the numbers weren't also backwards too.

I love this clock.But makes a lot of noise every click each second...

I am a middle school science teacher. This clock is a perfect tool to mess with 7th-graders' minds. Jokes aside, it gives them a jolt of non-standard thinking. I have in my class on the back wall.It is a regular made-in-China clock, cheap and simple, but it runs and looks good, so I think it is a good value for the money.

Arrived in short time, put the battery in and clock counter rotates as expected. However, the clock hands are slightly warped and get in each other's way as it makes its hourly pass. I open the the clock face and bend clock hands sufficiently to allow space/clearance when all hands overlap. Put in fresh battery and find the clock goes thru batteries rather very quickly. I've now gone thru 4 AA batteries since my purchase about a month ago and have found myself having to "unstick" the hands about 3 times already. I read a DIY article about re-gearing the clock mechanism so it rotates counterclockwise. It looks as if this clock was "re-geared. Spent $25 USD on this clock, my search continues for a properly working backwards rotating clock. Would not recommend.

I was disappointed that 1 of the 2 backwards clocks I purchased had to be returned due to the hour hand malfunctioning. That one was for me, the other one was a Christmas gift and I don't know if the person I gave it to has hung the clock up. Just hoping theirs is okay. I bought a backwards clock for my home and two other gifts some years ago from a local store and they lasts a long time. They are a great conversation piece. I plan to re-order another clock for myself through Amazon soon. I do want to thank Amazon and Wuersch Time Company for their great support in their hassle free return policy.

The clock mechanism that causes the hands to turn backwards works well.However, the image of this clock with reversed numerals is incorrect. This clock really has the numerals in an un-reversed way, as on a normal clock. If you place an order for this item, look at the its thumbnail image on the "Your Orders" page. This image is the only correct one.

It's a fun clock and accurate. I would recommend it as a great gift for something unusual. Thank you for sending
