Engelbert’s voice is just amazing.

There are twenty three tracks on this album and everyone a gem, but when you go beyond Last Walz and Release me and really listen to his voice and performance you realise how polished and professional he is. I did not like him as a young man and was not a fan but he has improved as he has got older. Just buy this album and see what I mean

Geschenk für meine Mutter, persönlich nicht mein Musikgeschmack. Aber ich kann sagen, dass seine größten Hits auf der CD zusammengetragen wurden - daher hatte ich diese CD ausgewählt - und die Aufnahmen von guter Qualität sind. Meine Mutter hat sich sehr gefreut und ist sofort wieder dem Schmelz seiner Stimme erlegen, ganz wie früher. Ich erinnere mich auch z. B. "Please release me" früher bei ihr gehört zu haben und es war eine schöne Erinnerung an meine Jugend. Nur sein Schnurrbart fehlt mir irgendwie (siehe Cover). Schade.

I like the music along with the vocals to be snappy! Unless the vocals are exceptional. There are very few exceptional singers in the west. Unlike India, but here the music is crappy.
