Good question. On my seat it fits fine and I’m over 299 lbs and it hasn’t cracked. My parents have one too and it doesn’t sit as well as it does on mine and to be honest I feel like it might crack. Just my opinion though.

How is the stream adjusted, and does it go side by side or front to back - there is absolutely NO plain description on the video or web site!

The stream is adjusted by increasing or decreasing the angle of the spray, it just depends on where the water needs to go. It doesn't move front to back or side to side. With the combination of the angle and the water pressure, it works like a dream.

Does it spray cold water?

It connect to your fresh water supply. If your water is cold, then yes. It's easy to install and works great!
