BlackburnOutpost Cargo Water Bottle Cage

Most water bottle cages are built for small water bottles. Like, 20oz small. I'm a thirsty man who sweats a lot. I drink a lot of water. I mounted this to my top frame mount. For longer rides, I carry 32+20+20oz of water. That's usually enough for me to go all day, especially if I 'camel up' before the ride. I added the Nalgene insulated cover to my Nalgene bottle, which also has a strap on it. This combo securely holds the Nalgene even on the roughest trails and keeps my water nice and cold.The price is a little steep for what this is, but it's made of quality material with anti-slip straps. Works for all sorts of things - tool bags and pouches, water bottles, whatever you can get creative with. Highly recommended.

I bought two of these Oupost cargo cages to use on my gravel rig and hardtail that I use for bikepacking. While they're not as light as some other cages out there, they're sturdier which for me means more than saving a little weight. The cages are metal. I have other cargo cages that are a composite material but wouldn't last with some of the rougher conditions I've used these in.Yes, there are only two sets of three mounting holes. You can still mount them to a fork though that has bosses. I like the fact that they can be adjusted by choosing any one of the different mounting holes to keep them clear of chainrings, etc..They can carry large Nalgene bottles, Klean Kanteens, cargo bags and even a crowler can of your favorite local beer (see picture). I'm purchasing two more cages to mount permanently to the gravel rig so I don't have to swap back and forth anymore. Blackburn did a good job with these although they could do with a third set of mounting holes. I read a lot of people drill a third hole for fork mounting which could save people the time and effort.

I have this on my fat tire commuter ebike that I use to travel from the Bronx to Brooklyn in NYC. This thing is awesome!. It's rock solid and allows me to take my 32oz camelbak water carrier that won't fit standard size bottle cages. I use a 64 oz Wild Wolf Outfitters sleeve as pictured so I can also fit my sunglasses case and a few other items. Keeps everything off my back and makes for a much more comfortable ride with my water readily available when I need a drink. It's attached to my handlebars with the Lumentrail handlebar adapter which is another great product. Neither item has budged since installation which says a lot when you ride around in a city filled with potholes. Yes, the color is a weird, funky mushroom dirt color, but I'm not taking off any stars for that. If it really starts to bothers me, I'll just spray paint it black. Great product, don't hesitate to buy.

Good quality but straps should be velcro instead of buckle so I switched out with velcro and fastened to back bike rack. Works well.

Sofer I haven't really got a chance to use it like in a long way I will say this I'm glad that it fits a 48 oz water bottle and a 64 those are the ones I've been using the most lately and trying to track my water intake

It's very good and works exactly how I expected it too. I carry a 64oz Klean Canteen stainless steel water bottle and this saves me from having to shoulder it. It comes with two straps but one is enough to secure my bottle and the other strap is a spare that goes in my frame bag. 10/10 great product and good price.

This is an great product, if you're using it for your bicycle. I bought this product thinking it would be great for my disc golf cart to replace my cheap drink holders. It does the job well with the straps, but it's honestly more suited for the bicycle community than disc golf. Having to re-teighten the straps every time I want to take out my water bottle is cumbersome. Once something is secured within it will take A LOT of movement to somehow dislodge my water from the carrier. This is a bias review made by me, I haven't tried to use this product on my bike just on my disc golf cart.

Built to last. The straps are long enough to allow to secure just about anything you can grab at a supermarket.The only "I wish it was better designed" are about the straps. Whenever the cage is empty, there is no way to secure the loose straps other than wrap them around the cage. In my opinion, this is too cumbersome process.Overall, If you are in need of a cage to carry wide containers, this is it.
