Pump works very efficiently and quietly
Works really well, my portable ac in heat mode will fill the water tank up fairly quickly, and with the outlet being at the bottom, gravity is not an option to have my water flow out. With this, it fills up as a small tank, and empties it out into a bottle. Love this item

I installed it and forgot about it
It was been working without interruption for the last 4 years. I installed it, monitored it for several months, and then promptly forgot about it. I am not sure why some reviewers have had reliability issues - it has worked without problems or maintenance. This has met and exceeded my expectations, and has allowed me to install my ACunit, with the drain line located above the actually unit itself, and run do so reliably.

ordered two so far, both work great.
instructions aren't the best but between youtube, and trial and error, the install is easy and the pump works great. you likely won't use either of the black wires. the brown and blue are the power wires for the pump. Attach one to each load wire on your mini split and that should power your pump when the water reservoir reaches the set point. good luck

Works great!
I purchased the same model 2 years ago and bought this one to replace it. It's currently attached to an 18k btu mini split air handler and works great. The newer model pump is smaller and much quieter than it's predecessor. My old one still works, it was just clogged, so now I have it as a backup.

What do you do with the black wires? I can tell you
I have this on one minisplit and a rectorseal aspen maxi orange that is 3x more expensive. This one is WAY quieter. Almost completely silent. The rectorseal has a significant buzz when it's running so it needs to be on top of something soft, preferably on top of insulation in the ceiling. This one is also recommended to be installed above the ceiling, but it's damn near silent when running. One thing that's not clear with the instructions with either pump is the additional wires.Blue and brown go to power and neutral ez peazy the 2 black wires on this are a shut off switch. This turns your AC OFF if your tank is full and not emptying when the pump runs. This reduces the risk of leaks. To make this feature work you disconnect the signal wire from your split unit, and wire nut it to one of the black wires, then run the second black wire into the signal connector on the unit. With my Gree Vireo installation blue and brown are installed on tabs 1 and 4, the black is installed on the third tab.If the float stays up it interrupts the signal wire and turns off the AC, but the pump continues to run until it empties even if you shut off the AC altogether.

Could be great for specific needs, but. . .
I needed a pump for my condensate drip pan, but I can't use a gravity fed system because the pan is on the floor. This looked perfect. It does pump, but...it is very finicky as to how much water depth turns it on and off. For it to turn on, the float switch container must be almost totally submerged, so much so that there is a risk for the electronic switch wire is wet, and the pan itself overflows (the switch container is about the exact same height as a standard pan). Once it starts up, though, it won't shut off on its own, it just keeps pumping. I have to manually get it started by removing the switch, turning it over to active the pump, put it in the water, and then come back later and take it out. What it really needs is a way to adjust how much water turns it on. This would be a very easy thing if they simply make the plastic column that the float rides up and down longer, and added a rubber grommet to keep the float higher or lower. That would allow the pump to turn on sooner instead of waiting for almost 2 inches of water.Another improvement would be to make the pump turn on and off at a more logical and consistent water level. It's odd that the float needs to be all the way at the top to turn it on, and yet it won't turn off even if it is all the way at the bottom. You also can't use it in a dehumidifier pan, which is what I thought I could also use it for, because the float switch part can't be totally submerged or have water drip on it.The last downside is that it only has a vertical water lift of about 1 foot. Any more than that it won't lift.

Great little pump
It is a good little pump, very Quiet you don’t know it’s on.One of the reviews stated that the power plug has no plug just cut wires and this is true. It is Meant to be placed in line of a air conditioner or a ductless wall unit but can be used with a plug. When using a plug use the brown and blue wires and the two black just tape off they were for an alarm that stops your air conditioner from running if the pump should fail.I use this pump with a Whynter ARC 14 SH portable air and heat unit in a sunroom to extend the season of the room. When the evaporation tank would fill during the running of the heater the unit would shut off ,now with this pump is just keeps on doing its job.The inlet of the pump accepts a 9/16 ID Vinyl hose as a good fit and the hose that comes with the pump is long enough for the connect between the pump and motor and still plenty to run the drain.I didn’t drill a hole in my wall for the drain hose it just Empties into large jar that has to be Emptied .Great little pump !

Needs a plug that clamps on the cord
The power wires are very thin so if you were to unplug it from the wall by pulling the cord the wires would just pull out of the plug. Definitely not UL listed. The tank is very small it holds about a cup or less. The tank assembly is about an inch and a half tall. It works well for my floor air conditioner that has a very low water outlet. The tank is very light so I placed a weight on top of it to hold . It is silent.
