These are all plastic and the way a set screw tightens into the plastic deforms the inner piece it together against, but it seems plenty sturdy enough for my OWM3 speakers I am using it with. If you are using the 1/4-20 screw to mount them, beware that you will probably have to get your own screws. The thread depth I could use in the speaker was very narrow and the screw supplied was too long, so I had to get some socket cap screws - the standard ones are to large to for inside the plastic mount. I agree with others that the key slot screws would be hard to use, since you are just trying on friction to tighten the back - maybe you could use a carriage bolt and put a nut on the mount side, but you'd have to get the perfect size for your speaker.I wish they had some way of routing the speaker wire better than just zip tying it to the mount, but I'm perfectly happy with these for the price.

For a cheap universal bracket set in white this is pretty good. Lots of ways to put together and mount. I would buy it again. You do have to have a mechanical aptitude to arrange the components for a fit. Since each individual bracket includes a chrome plated 4mm wrench I ended up with 5 of them, they are useful on many bicycles.

As with any "universal" product, it takes some time and fanagling to get it perfect. Once it is though, I really think it's a quality mount that serves it's purpose.

Although they are plastic they are not flimsy and the mounting options are awesome. Well worth the price.

Would have liked a better connection to my speakers, but I was able to make it work. It did come with a ton of bolts for different sizes, so a thumbs up for that!

these mounts are ok. recommend using with light weight sattelite speaks. I do not care for the unrefined appearance of these speaker mounts. They are kinda ugly,but they are functional affordable. come with a variety of metric screw sizes and option for contacting to spealers.

Horrible. These were not able to hold my 6lb speakers. The joints are smooth and under even a little weight slide. I tried mounting my speakers to the wall and ceiling but the mounts keep buckling and twisting, no matter how tight I made the pressure screws. Look somewhere else. These are cheap for a reason.

These are the bomb! They have so many options for making sure you can get your speakers where you want them. I had two satellite speakers that had to hang from the ceiling and two that came off the wall. Both setups worked like a charm and they are small enough that you barely notice them.
