Rainbow Genuine 2 1/2 Quart Water Pan (Basin)

Ordered a slightly cheaper version to replace my old water basin. It leaked and made a mess every time I used it. This one has been great. It was well worth spending a little more to get a water basin that actually keeps the water inside. It fit just like it’s supposed to with the vacuum.

Was the tank replacement cheap? No! It's for a Rainbow vac. Nothing is inexpensive for this vacuum. Did it work great? Yes! My kid ran my Rainbow without water in it and the original tank melted. After I quit crying, I went to Amazon to see if there was a replacement. Hallelujah, there was. And as far as the replacement tank cost vs. the cost of the full vacuum, this is cheap. It's just like the original. I'm happy, the kid is happy that I didn't have to ground them for a year, and the world is at peace.

My son broke the original water container from my rainbow like 5 moths ago and I really suffered cuz I couldn’t find a place that sells the original until a friend told me about amazon having some for less money but good quality. I was kind of nervous to order because I saw some bad reviews but I’m so happy I took the change. It’s very sturdy, good material and I can finally use my VACUUM AGAIN!! There is not other vacuum in the market like the rainbow (sorry not sorry to say it) lol

18 years ago I learned about rainbow vacuums. I heard stories of people who had them for 20-30 years. I was so impressed I sold them for a while to earn one of my own. It has worked without fail for 18 years. recently the tack got a crack we couldn't fix. I am so happy that parts are easy to get and my system still works like new. I expect it will outlive me.

This is the third bowl for our Rainbow. The replacements fit perfectly, and I do enjoy not having to clean a HEPA filter by banging it against the dustbin, and hoping the dirt will fall inside and not float around my kitchen and re-contaminate every surface. With a Rainbow, I just pour the dirty water down the toilet and give it a flush. The bowls themselves are somewhat fragile and break, if dropped, and the ears break off, if a careless teenager clamps the bowls into place, but those are the hazards with this design. The replacement bowls are as sturdy as the original. I recommend this product.

Fit perfect. Only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because it was a little scuffed and the plastic was dull.. as if it had been used. I used to sell rainbows and so I've seen a TON of brand new basins so I know when one has been used and one hasnt. But hey it fits and was a decent price.
