As advertised...
Product was as described and delivered very quickly. Pleased with the shipping and handling. Cannot say as yet whether they work as I haven't put memory in those servers yet. Got these because this model is apparently being phased out and I had a Supermicro 8 node server I had to finish provisioning. As to this particular unit from Intel... Great for utility server virtualization. I run High Availability Hyper-V servers (32Gig) and Fedora servers (16Gig) as virtualization hosts. Very pleased with the performance. The development/learning environment I use, performs quite well, with 3-6 servers active on each node.

Roughly similar to an i7-3770, but cheaper! Lack of onboard video requires external video, but for gaming, that's fine. Only problem is that the lack on onboard video makes troubleshooting POST errors a bit more tricky.

The processor is great, works like a champ
The processor is great, works like a champ. I'm using it in a desktop mobo, so remember that it doesn't have an iGPU and you'll need a external graphics card. Part of the reason I bought this was because it was "new", which is hard to confirm or deny when it comes in a little plastic square without an Intel box or stock cooler, but it runs fine nonetheless.

Buy it
Don't waste your money on an i7. This provides the same power in a fraction of the price.

Wenn man noch einen bekommt...
Sehr gute CPU für den Gen8 Proliant Microserver von HP.Dazu einen Akasa K25, damit er nicht zu heiß wird.
