Likely not kid safe

Yikes - these smelled rough like house paint and look like they were dip-painted - terrible quality and looked like they were just thrown into a cheap box with really bad writing on the outside. Since a lot of Chinese toy imports are not regulated (and many test positive for lead), we sent them back and got a higher quality Melissa and Doug set that undergoes more testing.

Great value for the money but...

They are withstanding a 3 and 4 year old play. Sadly several of the horses do not stand up because of legs not being lined up properly to do so.

Too lifelike

Be aware. These horses are very anatomically correct. All the ones we received were male. I bought them for my two young daughters and I’m not quite sure they need to know that much about horse genitalia. I am considering whether I should send them back or just hope my daughters don’t notice.
