NuVein Compression Pantyhose, 15-20 mmHg Support, Women's Sheer Nylon Hosiery Tights, Closed Toe, Black, Queen Plus

I was recently prescribed medicine that causes minor knee pain and swelling in the feet and ankles so I have been trying multiple brands and sizes of compression hose/socks to find the best option. As a guy I’m new to this stuff so this is what I look for when rating them.1. Size/Fit – At 5’9”, 180 lbs, 9” ankle, 14” calf, 24” thigh I need options that are long enough and big enough in the right places but still provide adequate support2. Compression – I need a medium level of compression, in the range of 15-20 or 20-30 mmhg3. Comfort – They need to be able to be worn under clothes for a solid 8-10 hours (sitting, standing, walking, etc.) without becoming too droopy, uncomfortable, hot, or itchy4. Durability – Need to be strong, run-resistant, hold up to daily wear and last for several usesThese hose are made of a different material than others I have tried. Very slick and shiny but kind of coarse to the touch, more sheer than opaque and not quite as soft or stretchy. They look more like pantyhose than tights when on which is good for some, but my wife doesn’t think so on me. Quality is good and the seams are sewn well and the toes and heel have additional material.Compression feels more like a 20-30 mmhg product which is good for the price and sizing matches to their chart. Overall, they are tight, especially at the feet so you will need to be really patient and give yourself 10-15 minutes to get them on.So far I’ve worn them only a few times and they are mostly good. The price is exceptional for the quality and will most likely be buying more.

I know these are for compression, but I sized up and they still run so small (as in thin/narrow) on the leg that I physically can’t get them on. Quality seems great, sheerness is lovely, but absolutely gave up on these after injuring myself repeatedly trying to get them on because they’re just that small.

These compression stockings were a true game changer. I was working a 10 shift and these stockings saved the day. I am so happy with my purchase. well worth every penny

the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is how hard it is to get them past your heel?? I always purchase Sivgaris 15/20 and although they are also tight (like all compression hose) Ive never had such a tuff time getting them past my heel. Once on, they feel great and are sheer enough.

I bought two of these compression panyhose for work and I'm fairly satisfied with my purchase, the price was good too. I'm 5 feet 4 inches tall and about 175 pounds so Queen was a good fit for me. Overall the construction was good except for two raised seams from the waist down to under the butt this was surprising because the seams can be seen under soft trousers. I don't like that feature of the panyhose so I have to wear appropriate shirts or jackets when I'm wearing them. The ad shows a smoothe finish at the butt area so this was misleading!

I bought this in size medium because I usually am a size medium in most pantyhose (it usually stretches 3” more on me than what the pkg says it will. However, I didn’t carefully read the size chart, and was looking for max compression I can get out of a garment, cuz 20-30mmhg is a little too much for me right now. If the garment stretches enough, it will provide seemingly halfway between the compression hose rated compression and the next level up. If it doesn’t stretch enough (like usually not 5” stretch in length.), then you’ll spend 10-15 minutes or more trying to get it to stretch 96-97%, and then it’ll rip or run. These seem to have a comfortable waistband, but overall comfort is n/a, since they are too tight in the toes when stretched far enough. Have to update my review when I receive the Tall size.

Under pants fine but as a nice stocking that is durable I would have to give zero it possible. Ran first time I put on!

I read the reviews before buying this product and was concerned about the difficulty getting them on. They are certainly not easy to get on but once on they are terrific. My legs feel wonderful all day, minimal swelling and no pain. Bought these after knee replacement surgery. Had swelling prior but afterward the swelling was getting in the way of full recovery. I am very happy with them. Yes, they are difficult to get on but I think it is worth the effort.

Súper difícil de ponerse, pero fuera de ahí el material está grueso, ya llevo varias lavadas y no se ha desgastado o jalado el material.

Son muy delgadas, la talla no concuerda.

Ok, help leg pain. Easier to get into if you use powder on legs first.
