I ordered the one in walnut and it is sooooo freaking cute and very strong and sterdy!!! They slide nicely on the track. The vanity was packaged in a box by the manufacturer and this box was packaged in a second box essentially encasing the vanity in twolayers of styrofoam. There was no damage noted. I was surprised at first as I thought amazon sent the wrong color. I ordered walnut and the vanity I received is definitely a reddish color which I would consider cherry. I've noticed many reviewers claimed their cherry stain was almost black, which is definitely not the case with my unit, so I assume their "walnut" color is slightly red. It was easy to assemble, though I received no instructions. The only odd part is the mirror which has no pilot holes drilled into the back of the frame, but it was simple to drill my own. I am pleased with this piece. It certainly doesn't look like an expensive piece of furniture, but it doesn't look cheap either, so it is a decent compromise if you are looking for a nice vanity that is a good price.
