These are very sharp . I have cut metal with ease . The only drawback is that they are easily broken. You must keep your drill vertical. Buy a couple of boxes because of this Regards Mark

Unfortunately two of these broke, and not due to misuse, quite quickly. The others seem to be fine but surprisingly the larger bits broke first.

Have only just received the micro drill bits, I disliked the container they came in at first, I struggled to open it! However now it's finally open it's much easier. I bought the drill bits to drill sterling silver to enable me to thread the fine saw blades through the metal. I have used the .5mm so far and successfully drilled numerous holes, no problems at all. I am using a pin vice. I would imagine that if you were heavy handed they would easily break, as would any I would imagine. I am happy with them so far.

I should have read the other reviews, but I needed small drill bits quite urgently. My bad.The quality of these drill bits is shockingly poor. I went easy, knowing they were fairly delicate, but I was only drilling into some soft wood to make pilot holes. After a couple were done, the top 3 or 4 mil broke off, leaving it stuck in the hole, enough the I could pull it out. I managed to finish the job, but not before another couple of mils broke off elsewhere and could not be extracted as it had gone in too deep. Fortunately you can't tell if you don't look too closely. But I am somewhat of a perfectionist so it has irritated me.Buy cheap buy twice, I guess is the advice.Sending them back as they are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

I bought these for model making and although it is a good little set a couple have snapped already. I would buy again but only as they offer what I need for a small price.

Great value for money. Sharp drill bits, easy to use. Much better than others I have used. Could be improved by having the sizes printed onto them but as they're colour coded it's still easy to work out the sizes.

Did the job required. Buyer should be aware that these are very brittle so need to be used with the workpiece and drill held firmly otherwise at 0.3mm they will break. Excellent value though.
