Multi-colored pliers
Works perfectly for its size

Cool, but small
This is a lot smaller than I anticipated it would be. It's got some cool features but the build quality is about a 7 out of 10. This is OK for a backup tool to keep in a backpack for use in a pinch but this will never be a daily tool or one you depend on all the time.

GOOD LOOKING AND HANDY SIZE
A VERY HANDY SIZED MULTI-TOOL. SOME OF THE BLADES ARE A LITTLE HARD FOR MY BIG FINGERS TO OPERATE, BUT FOR THE PRICE YOU CAN'T GO WRONG. I HAVE A LARGE GERBER AND IT SEES A LOT OF USE. I'M SURE THIS LITTLE TOOL WILL BE AN ASSET AROUND THE OFFICE.

Be careful of the blades!
I bought this because I thought that I'd lost a coworker's throw-away micro tool and I felt bad about it. It turned out that some other guy had picked it up and it was sitting on his desk, so I inherited the gift myself. First off, whoever said that the keyring is in the wrong place is dead right. I don't know what kind of idiot designed this thing, but if you use the knife with your keys still attached, then there is a pretty good chance you'll need a bandage. I sliced the ever-loving crap out of my index finger because the keys flopped over and got in the way, helping the blade to slip and snap shut on my finger. We're talking STITCHES here, ladies and germs. The knives have no locks on them, which is pretty stupid considering how easy it is to design and manufacture a liner lock. As stupid as I am for using this knife when my common sense said, "No way, Jose." I am giving this 3 stars for the pliers alone. They are handy little suckers, and they are spring loaded to help open the jaws for one-handed use. Get the Bear Gryllis tool if you want a mini-multitool. At least the engineers didn't have a petit mal mid-design.

Pocket tool
Quality is excellent. Just the right size and tools for everyday carry.

Compact take along light duty multitool.
This is better for more rural use as opposed to the Gerber dime, which more suited for urban, personal grooming. The Vice lacks the scissors & tweezers. But the Vice has an extra serrated blade along with the regular slip joint spey/pen type blade. It's thicker than the Gerber dime but gets rid of the annoying protruding bottle opener the Dime has. They both have the same tiny file with the 2 dimensional Phillips, which is better used at a 45° angle than fully deployed. I wish Gerber would have placed the keyring/lanyard hole on the other end, away from the blade use end. Use a Nitize lil S beaner to attach it to your keys or whatever, so you can take whatever off before deploying the blades for use. Light duty pliers, not designed for big nuts.

Don't waste your money.
Hmmmm........Not a really useful tool, really not for every day carry. The various tools/blades are too hard to fold out of the handle. And the one I got seemed to be full of fine grit in the moving parts-you know, like when you get sand in a folding knife? The mating parts of the pliers make that gritty sound when they move. I hosed it down with high pressure quick evaporating electrical cleaner solvent from a can, with all the blades/tools out, dried it off, then hosed it down with Break Free CLP, let it sit opened up for a week for the CLP to dry, and it still feels and sounds like it's full of grit. It's a little big to keep in my pocket with my Leatherman Micra (have carried that for the last 23 years)and my tinkerer model Victorinox Swiss Army knife I've carried for the last 10 years(carried a Swiss of some kind since the late 70s). The plastic on the handles actually seem to make it uncomfortable to use, and build quality is just not what Gerber was 30-40 years ago. Threw it in my knife/tool collection, and I will probably never use it, as I have much better tools available. Like many other once top notch manufacturers, Gerber has seemed to go downhill, and is no longer a relevant maker of useful stuff. It's almost like they sit around and design things to look "cool" with no intention of anybody actually using them.

Great little EDC tool for the money
Got this as an add-on item for under $10 to replace a small Victorinox Classic I lost a while back. I keep it on my keychain and it doesn't take too much room. I found that both blades were very sharp right out of the box and easy to get to without needing to open you the pliers. The other tools were very stiff and hard to deploy at first, especially the almost too small to be useful nail file/screwdriver. With some usage they have loosened up a little and are much easier to deploy. The pliers are really too small to be of great use, but nice to have in a pinch and although this doesn't have a pair of tweezers, I find that I can use the pliers as a substitute (actually was able to get a splinter out with them). I use it most often to open packages and have used the screwdrivers for replacing batteries in electronics and small toys.

Gerber Vise

Excellent quality multi utility tool
Excellent quality multi utility tool from Gerber. Been using this for about 6 months but still no scratches no issue with quality of the product. I would say it's a value for money product.

Little Lifesavers - Great Quality/Value
These little guys are solid. Very good quality and very portable! I have to admit they're smaller than I was expecting, but that's one me since I should have paid more attention to the dimension description. 100% recommend, I'm a photographer/videographer and I keep these in my bag just in case. Doesn't take up much space and they work when I need them too! Lifesavers
