Review: Same great quality as my vintage Gerber - This item replaced my worn out Gerber tool from 1999 (same model). It has all the same tools, and they improved the wire cutter on this generation. Quality looks and feels great just like my old one. The durable sheath has thick material and double stitching. I was initially concerned about the quality when ordering, since so many things are cheaply made now. So far, I am very happy with the quality. ## Features - Gerber Gear Multitool: The Multi-Plier 600 is a compact, versatile multitool featuring 14 tools, including needlenose pliers and a serrated knife - One-handed Convenience: Patented one-hand opening pliers and Saf.T.Plus locking system provide quick access and safe use, ensuring dependable performance - Durable Construction: Made with stainless steel, the Multi-Plier 600 multitool withstands the toughest conditions - Essential Tools Included: This multitool with sheath comes equipped with a ruler, bottle opener, screwdrivers, and a wire crimper, making it a reliable daily companion - About Gerber Gear: Since we made our start 85 years ago, we've been making blades and tools that have been companions on countless adventures ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0006G5F1M | | Best Sellers Rank | #14,537 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #40 in Multitools | | Brand | Gerber | | Brand Name | Gerber | | Color | Stainless Steel | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 8,387 Reviews | | Drive System | Centre Drive | | Folded Size | 1.5 x 2.81 x 5.69 inches | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00013658075306 | | Included Components | Multi-Tool, Sheath | | Item Dimensions | 2.81 x 1.5 x 5.69 inches | | Item Type Name | Multi-Tool | | Item Weight | 0.26 kg | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 2.81 x 1.5 x 5.69 inches | | Manufacturer | Gerber | | Manufacturer Part Number | 07530N | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | See manufacturer | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | 07530N | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 14 | | UPC | 013658075306 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Gerber - **Color:** Stainless Steel - **Item Weight:** 0.26 kg - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 2.81 x 1.5 x 5.69 inches - **Material:** Stainless Steel ## Images ![Gear MP600 14-in-1 Needle Nose Pliers Multi-tool - Multi-Plier, Pocket Knife Set, Screwdriver, Bottle Opener - EDC Gear and Equipment - Stainless Steel - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Fh5ykowiL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Set** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Where is this made** A: On the plier ,all you can see and read USA,but it doesn't say "Made in USA",also you can find some patent numbers pending,if you check on the box(if there is),it is either made in China or USA,it also depends if these were mass produce here, or outside the states,I know these were made probably in early 90's or late 2000's and are out of production since, but there are some maybe produce in China, like a cheap version or like a knock-off,or better yet try to make some research on some dealers and distributors,I ordered this once, but instead they sent me the wrong item,so I had to have a refund, and ordered the SOG powerassist instead. **Q: Whats the difference between these and the MP400?** A: You have one less option of philips and flat screw driver, instead of serrated and straight you get a combination of both and you get some scissors with the mp400 **Q: How are the cutters with barb wire? I have the diesel set and the cutters are worn out** A: I’ve never cut barbed wire but I imagine it must be a rather soft annealed wire. This particular model of Gerber uses hardened steel, maybe even carbon steel, for cutting. The blade has three cutting edges plus the blade is replaceable. My guess is that it should work fine for your application. **Q: Does this come with the sheath? My husband bought this exact tool a few years ago & it came with a sheath as well as every other Gerber we have seen.** A: Yes. It comes with a nylon sheath. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it *by A***N on September 6, 2026* Best tool in the toolbox, lightweight, sharp, durable, & with multiple tools! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Same great quality as my vintage Gerber *by B***4 on August 2, 2026* This item replaced my worn out Gerber tool from 1999 (same model). I haven't been gentle and it's held up well. I used the needle nose pliers last night to pry open the sliding glass window in the back window of my old pickup truck. Given the direction and magnitude of the torque applied to the plier hinge, this was really abuse rather than use, but good tools like this are overbuilt and use quality materials and heat treating, so they can take some occasional abuse. I love the assortment of tools on board. Gerber seemed to know how I'd use this multi-tool. I carry a full sized knife that's easier to access, so I almost never use the knife on the Gerber Multi-Plier, but a multi-tool needs a knife and this is a good blade that's well designed. It's small enough to be discrete, large enough to be genuinely useful, and the smooth and serrated areas seem ideal for a multitude of different uses. The replaceable jig saw blade is genius! I love that I can carry lightweight, inexpensive, and readily available blades optimized for cutting wood, soft metals and harder metals. The abrasive grit blade that is supplied is the best of all worlds. It may not be optimal for the materials I just mentioned, but it will cut almost ANYTHING, including glass or ceramic tile. I also love the way the Phillips screwdriver bit accepts the included adapter that can use any 1/4" hex drive bit. That opens this tool up to using all sorts of tool bits. You can carry an assortment of security bits and McGyver your way into all sorts of tamper proof electronics. Or you can get a 1/4" square drive adapter and carry a selection of small sockets. The small set of bits that ships with the Pro Scout is a good selection for everyday needs and tucks next to the multi-tool in my tactical pants' small cell phone pocket that wasn't used since I switched to a ginormous tablet phone. I'm usually a SOG guy, but Gerber nailed this one. ## Frequently Bought Together - Gerber Gear Multi-Plier 600 - 14-in-1 Multitool with Sheath, Needlenose Pliers, Screwdriver, Serrated Knife, Wire Crimper, Bottle Opener, Can Opener & More - Made in USA - Stainless Steel - Clip & Carry Kydex Multitool Sheath for Gerber MP600 ~Fits bluntnose & needlenose Models~ Made in USA (Multi-Tool not Included) Multi Tool Holder Holster - Gerber Gear Gear Multi-Plier 600 - 14-in-1 Bladeless Multipurpose Tool with Screwdriver, Needlenose Pliers, Can Opener, Wire Cutter & More - Made in USA - Survival Tools --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/1412179-gear-mp600-14-in-1-needle-nose-pliers-multi-tool](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/1412179-gear-mp600-14-in-1-needle-nose-pliers-multi-tool) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
