It is what it is. I still haven't found a slide that I can point to and really say, "YES! This is the one!" It's OK. Small ID fits on your pinky, which I wanted to try. What to use and how for slide guitar is highly subjective to say the least. End of story.

This slide is functional, but it has no weight. It feels like it's made from plastic and it's very light, which seems to cause a lack of tonal quality. I do like that it is actually a "Pinky" slide and you don't have to wear it on your middle finger, but it could use a little more weight. I used to have a pinky slide from back in the day (disappeared from the top of my amp one night) and the Johnny Winter pinky slide is the first I've seen in some time. Just wish it was a little heavier.

As mentioned elsewhere it is lighter weight than I expected ( tho I had given No thought about weight whatsoever ) It fits small finger fine. Packaged well and as described.. I'm still a beginner to a degree so I can't give a solid review as I'm not good enough to produce its real sound yet . For the price and being a lifelong Johnny fan how could I Not buy it...

Nice and light, so it's great for high speed slide runs.Has mostly treble-prominent tones, which works well for a variety of music styles (go for a thick-walled brass slide if you want deeper, broader tonality).Very tight on my medium size pinky finger (actually annoyingly uncomfortable after a while of playing - I wish there was one with a larger inside diameter).

Works well. Wish it came in brass.

Yes it met my expectations. I prefer metal, the length is perfect for the fretboard and it fits my pinky finger. Most pinky slides don't have the length
