PARACORD PLANET 1/16” Diameter Elastic Stretch Bungee Shock Cord in 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 1000, 1300 Feet Options

The cord that came with our cat fishing rod toy was chewed through pretty quickly, once the cats started playing with it. I bought some stouter stuff, but it turned out that the eyelet for the string was too small for the heavier stuff...so I bought this. I put a length of bungee cord on the rod, and it's been chewed on by several cats...and, so far, no signs of damage. I had expected to have to replace the cord often, but it looks like it'll take awhile for them to destroy this cord, so it'll probably be next year, by the time I run out...maybe the year after!

I don't know how any of these companies get their sizing - This is the third company I've bought 1/16 shock cord from and it's really thin, the other two were different sizes as well. this may work for what i need but I'm not sure. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because I just don't know which one of these are actually 1/16 the cord looks like it's good quality

Cord is right diameter for the job. I was able to replace old with this new for small tent. Makes it easier for tent set up.

Bought this to try to use as attachment cords on my running pack. Love the small size n strength but hard to find retainer or lock clips for this small size.

I dunno if this cord is supposed to be as loose as it actually is, but it feels like it's old and degrading. It has the same floppy texture as old hair ties so I've opted to return it. A pity, as it's the right size and comes in multiple colors.

The cord comes in a ziplock bag, but no problem there. Vendor was prompt and product was as described. I used it to repair some tent poles on a 1 man tent. In retrospect, it’s a little too small for that. But 1/8” is way too big to fit the tent pole. Should have found something in between. This stuff is about like the little elastic used in rubber bands for hair.

Cord seems decent, comparable to Dritz elastic that I buy for more money. However, I received 100 ft of cord in a plastic bag with NO spool or anything tying the center. Despite trying to delicately pull from either end to rewind (the way it arrived was not usable), it tangled HORRIBLY! I am a knitter with my own swift and ball winder; I know how to deal with fibers that need to be wound. It took me over an hour to make this usable. Do you mean to say, they couldn't wind the length around some cardboard or empty spool or even tie it around the center to prevent this mess? Go to a yarn store and purchase an unwound hank of yarn, and you will see how it is sold to prevent this type of thing. While the product is good and the price tempting, I wouldn't buy from here again unless the packaging was vastly different. Too frustrating.

I sew masks for friends and family. This size seems to be the preferred elastic for comfort around the face and ears. I purchased 50 yards, and it came in a bag. Not tangled, but I did have to figure out how to wrap it around a spool for using it. The color is beautiful and doesn't fade when washed (that I can tell).

I ordered 100' expecting a 100' piece .... I got 2 pieces of about 40' and 60' .If the order doesn't come as 1 piece, they should tell you it may come in smaller pieces ... since the project requires a continuous piece, this is just junk.Beware you may get a kit if you order this, it may not be one continual piece.

Elastic not received in the best of condition
