One of Big Skinny's most popular wallets, the perfectly balanced Slimline bi-fold wallet is designed with just enough unique slots to access your most frequently used cards in an ultra-thin package. It features a full-sized billfold area, four credit card pockets, an ID pocket with a clear plastic window for easy access to your driver's license or work badge and two oversized hidden storage pockets -- enough storage to keep more than 20 full-sized plastic cards. The extra-wide pockets are lined with a rubbery coating to prevent cards from slipping out. Designed with rounded corners for comfort, it's constructed of a lightweight, water resistant nylon microfiber material that is 5 to 7 times thinner and lighter than leather. It's machine washable for easy care and it dries out in about 20 minutes. The Slimline bi-fold wallet measures 4-1/2 x 3-3/8 Inch (and 4 mm thin when empty). The first Big Skinny wallet was designed by Kiril Stefan Alexandrov (the company's founder) because he loathed sitting on a thick, heavy leather wallet. Since creating the original Sport Wallet in 2005 using an advanced nylon micro-fiber material (5 to 7 times thinner than leather), Big Skinny has added dozens of slim wallet styles for men and women with more on the way.

The TARDIS of billfolds ... it's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside!
My old, over-stuffed wallet was starting to wear holes into my jeans' back pockets, so I gave this Big Skinny wallet a try. Man, I am impressed! In moving all my credit cards, rewards cards, ID cards, etc. from my old wallet to this one, I felt there were one or two cards I could leave out, but aside from that, pretty much everything from my old wallet went into this one. With virtually the same contents, the Big Skinny wallet is notably thinner than my old wallet. I am very happy I made the change. The only quibble (and it's ONLY a minor quibble) I have is that the surface is a bit slick compared to a traditional leather wallet. While getting used to it, I dropped the Big Skinny wallet a few times because it slipped through my fingers while pulling it out of my pocket. I grip it a bit tighter now and I don't drop it anymore ... it was a minor adjustment I had to make.

Slim as advertised and washable. Exactly what I was looking for.
I love this wallet. It is very slim. I packed the contents of my old leather bifold into this thing and it's only a percentage of the thickness of my other wallet. I'd say its about 60% slimmer.I wish there was one more slot on the right side. But that's a pretty small thing to be worried about. The rubber slot liners do a surprisingly good job of keeping the cards in place. I haven't had anything fall out of it.The wallet is light and does not make my leg sweat like my old leather. It's completely washable so that when it does get gross, I can just throw it in the machine with my clothes.Do yourself the favor and buy it from amazon with free shipping rather than directly from the manufacturer.

... had this wallet for several months and I largely like it. For the past several years
I've had this wallet for several months and I largely like it. For the past several years, I had leather wallets and kept them in my back pocket. I was having the hip-pinchy-wallet-syndrome and starting taking my wallet out while sitting.I bought this wallet, because I wanted something skinnier for the times I still kept it in my pocket and sit on it.The material has kept up well so far.The only two downsides for me were:I didn't like the fabric divider in the bill section. It wasn't useful for me and I eventually cut it out of the wallet. Much better know.I do think the "Big Skinny" Logo that is sewed on it is oddly/ironically bulky. I have wondered if I could pick it off with a seam ripper.

It amazes me a wallet that has a main selling point of being super skinny has a thick rubber logo on the outside ...
5 stars if they would not put the rubber logo on it. I have used the Big Skinny for years and it used to just have a fabric label inside the wallet vs. a thick rubber logo outside. It amazes me a wallet that has a main selling point of being super skinny has a thick rubber logo on the outside that is nearly as thick as the wallet. It just does not make sense. Even an option on there website for like $2-$5 no logo charge. Of course the leather version has a stamped logo but leather + water is no good. So that wallet is not an option for me.

Nice thin wallet
I was shopping for a thin, compact, streamlined wallet. This one fills the bill. I like the material, organization pockets, drivers license window, etc. It has all the basics I was looking for - as I have off-loaded many cards (membership, etc.) to my phone by scanning them. One caveat to consider with this bi-fold (something new I had not realized after having used a tri-fold for the past 30 years): Now, when I try to insert bills or receipts into the bill compartment, they must be lined up just so for them to fit. With a tri-fold, the compartment is much deeper and is not so fickle about alignment for the paper to fit. Not a big deal (or a slight on the wallet itself), but something I am adjusting to.

Great wallet for those who value functionality over fashion
This is my second Big Skinny wallet and overall they're pretty awesome and don't see myself going back to big fat leather wallets any time soon. Pros - Your wallet will be significantly thinner, just don't expect a miracle - Simple and well designed for quick access to cards and cash, no bells and whistles needed - Not leather -- no animals were harmed in the making of this wallet! - Pretty inexpensive - Comes with a $1,000,000 bill in the billfold area. 97% percent sure it's not real though. Cons - Kind of ugly - Not miracle level of thin If you value functionality over fashion then this is a pretty good option for you.

Second Big Skinny, the first one finally started to wear out.
I distinctly remember buying my first Big Skinny wallet many years ago – I do not remember how long but it has been years. The ad featured a pretty girl wearing an orange bikini and the wallet was tucked into her bikini bottom. It took me a minute to realize it was an ad for a wallet :). The wallet has finally started to wear out but I have gotten my money's worth. I love how slim it is and how it fits so nicely into my front pocket where I always carry it. I used to be one of those guys that carried a thick wallet in the back pocket but after I realized that my back pain was coming not from my spine but my wallet I started looking for a thin one. The one complaint that I had with it was that there used to be just one pocket on the left hand-side with three cards in it. Occasionally cards would fall out. I am replacing it because the lining which was some kind of fabric finally started to peel apart. I like the new one because it has three individual pockets on the left and an additional pocket on the right. I like the plastic window where I can keep my identification badge. There are a pocket behind each side which can hold additional cards. Finally, where the bills go there is now a divider where you can separate denominations into two sections. I keep the large bills in one side and the one dollar bills and the other. The corners of the wallet are still sharpish but I am sure that it will mold into a smoother shape after a while. I have the same amount of cards in my wallet now that I had in the old one and the wallet is slightly thicker. Overall, I am very pleased with it. I could have stayed with the original wallet and I hated throwing it out but the interior fabric was breaking up and falling out.
