This is a series that is great and amazing to watch, meet Serena your average 14 year old girl who is clumsy, scatterbrained and a overall nutcase, she is not very good in school but is kind and gracious. After saving a wild cat on her way to school, the cat follows her home and reveals herself to be Luna from the moon kingdom, and she had been sent from the past to find the chosen guardians that could save the universe from the evil queen barel and the negaverse! Serena at first does not want to be this so called guardian "sailor moon" but she gathers all her courage and battles the evil and saves the day with tuxedo mask and the other sailor scouts, Sailor, Mars, Sailor, Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Sailor Mercury. and in later seasons we meet the outer planet scouts Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Pluto, and Sailor Saturn, they all fight for love justice and overly nice things!!! and here is cheesiest thing ever Serena is the moon princess and tuxedo mask is Derain. it is pretty obvious to figure it out!the story is quite compelling and very cheesy, but over all great! 10/10!!!

this is the first dvd for the dub of sailor moon. sailor moon is a classic anime, many people may not like it but it did introduce tons of anime fans too anime. sailor moon was my first anime.the episodes included in the dvd are:-A moon star is born this shows how serena (usagi) meets luna, and becomes sailor moon-talk radio everyone is tooneing in to a radio show that reads love letters, just to give the writers of the love letters a flower that drains there energy-slim city serena(usagi) joins a health club that is free to try and lose weight, just to find out that it a front for the negaverse-so you want to be a superstar every one become excited to join a talent show that will make them into superstars, but again it is just the negaverse trying to steal everyones energy.-computer school blues ami is introduced in this episode so we finnaly get to see sailor mercury-time bomb a clock store is selling clocks that speed up time and makes people exert energy from the strees so the negaverse can steal there energy. i really liked this epesode becuase ami and luna figure out something is wrong becuase serena (usagi) was on time for school.all in all this is a good dvd and is fun too watch. i personaly do not mind the dub becuase this is how i was introduced to sailor moon and it remineds me of old times. if you hate the dub you can always just but the japanese version with sub only. i have that one too and i love it just as much.

The first start to one of the most (in)famous North American dubs in anime history...if you know what to expect and you enjoy (can tolerate) the English dub, then it's worth 5 stars. If you can't take the dub, then it's not a suitable purchase option.With respect to quality and content, it's a pretty solid edition...I just wish that they left the commercial break bumpers (eyecatches) in.It's a must for any hardcore US Sailor Moon fan.

This Vol Contains 6 Episodes. The first 6 Episodes of the DIC Edited Dub. Serena first becomes Sailor Moon in this Vol. She also meets Sailor Mercury in this Vol as well. Amy is soo Cute. Overall I loved my purchase. This is made by ADV Films.

I received an advance copy of this set and it's spectacular and is reasons. I can tell you having only gotten to see a few episodes of the series total that the show itself is entertaining.
