Works as advertised and easy to apply.. takes a while to dry , so this is not a quick dry if you are looking for one.. but love the quality

Wish I had found this product 10 years ago. I absolutely love this DAP DryDex spackling compound. The dry time indicator is genius - goes on pink so you can see exactly where you've applied it, then dries completely white when ready for the next step. Best part is it blends in perfectly with my existing white walls. For smaller nail holes and minor dings, I didn't even need to paint over it once dry. The white finish matches so well that repairs are virtually invisible. Application is smooth and easy, no clumping or difficulty spreading. Dries relatively quickly and the color change makes it foolproof to know when it's ready. Saves tons of time not having to prime and paint every little wall repair. This has become my go-to for quick wall fixes around the house. Perfect for renters or anyone doing minor touch-ups without wanting to break out paint supplies.

Very easy to use and great for filling holes on dry wall. Prior to use, squeeze the tube to mix it. It is not hard to squeeze as some reviews have mentioned. It is easy to spread with a scraper. It is easy to sand. Worked well.

This review is only for using this as nail hole filler. I have tried every method of filling nail holes and spackle was never at the top of the list due to the amount shrinkage. This stuff is better due to being heavier, but the biggest difference from my normal tub is the squeeze tube makes it handier. I'm usually towing a nail punch, hammer, 1 inch blade and whatever filler along the room. Filling 300 nail holes with difficult to work wood filler is not pleasant. This is much easier to work. While the shrinkage is less and I have yet to see any cracking, it still doesn't quite sand 100% flat like wood filler. It's likely because it's just easier to take off than wood so even a sanding sponge with light pressure digs in slightly. I think I'm happy with the trade-off, due to ease of application and consistency. It's barely noticeable when it does happen, and it dries quicker and more consistently than regular wood filler.

I've used this on small screw holes, and it worked very well.

I used this to fill some holes in my wall. Applies pink and dries white so it’s easy to tell where I’ve applied it. The mixture isn’t very thick. I just use an old credit card to smooth over the holes and it dries quickly. Pretty big bottle so can be used for a long time if it doesn’t dry out.

I have bought this product before. I like it because it goes on pink and dries white. My Landlaord couldn't even tell where I hung pictures.
