Velo Orange Milan Handlebar - 570 x 25mm, Silver

I've only ridden it for a few days but I love these handlebars! I have replaced the shortened straight bar I'd first installed to convert my gorgeous Italian vintage single-speed racer ( Wilier Toni Bevilacqua ) into a city bike. I ride at least 7 miles daily around NYC where I live, so the bike's original (beautiful) drop bars were not quite an option for a stressful city traffic riding. The straight bar fell better, but soon started killing my wrists, so I started researching on which handlebars would not look completely out of place on my classic Italian racer, keep me in more upright position in the city traffic, would accommodate my sometimes aggressive riding style and be be easy on my wrists. Oh, and I also wanted it to be lightweight (not a heavy as the Nittoo bars I've tried) This one is light, feels really comfortable and LOOKS great.

A little narrow for me, but that's my fault for not paying attention to how wide these are. Nice finish, nice bends, lightweight, inexpensive, especially compared to Nitto.

Nice bar. Plenty of room in the grip area. Exactly as expected.

My bike is a Diamondback Edgewood LX, which is an entry-level hybrid with fairly relaxed geometry. I replaced the factory flat bars with this bar, and I love it. It is light, compact enough for city riding and parking, and promotes an upright position, which suits this bicycle to a “t”. The hand spacing also seems to increase responsiveness on turns. And it adds a touch of cool to what has to be one of the least cool rides on the market. I was already having fun on my bike, but this product has made riding even more enjoyable.

I have this bar on two bikes and find that that I like the place that it occupies on the sporty to stoic curve. I find this bar works well bars and seat height about the same, plus or minus an inch or so, just the right amount of rise for a practical bike ridden by sporty rider.. I have them set up just below the seat on an Italian racer from the late 80's and just about the seat on a Trek 620 that I have set up with with a front cargo and rear rack that I use for all around commuting, errands, touring. The bends offer me three hand positions so I have used them up to 80 miles in a day.Quality of material and finish is excellent, a really good value for the few extra bucks over the available options, I will never pinch the pennies again for a bike I am going to ride myself.
