The cable I was sent was a grey RJ11 (phone cable) style head on both ends. In order to use the cash drawer with the printer you need one end to have the RJ11 style connector and the other to have a RJ45 style connector. I had to clip off one end, find a CD-014A wiring diagram online, and crimp down a CAT5 connector.
