Fluval Plant 3.0 LED Planted Aquarium Lighting, 46 Watts, 36-46 Inches

Finally, a quality product that actually does as it claims to. I have a 125 gallon lidded aquarium so I called Fluval for assistance since I love their canister filter (FX2). They said for a 72 inch lidded tank to use 2 of these 36 inch lights instead of the crappy Chinese 72 inch that cost @ $200. While this cost @twice that it’s worth it for the quality! It is also Bluetooth controlled through the app so no more remotes!!! This picture is where it just started ramping up to simulate sunrise. Their customer service is amazing!!!! I will stick with Fluval!!

Great light, it works with an app or you can do it manually. Had it fall into the tank one time and still ticking. Plants will grow steadily, you don’t need co2. You honestly just have to be patient with the plants. They grow over time

Almost three years of aquascaping with it and going strong. Hangs 12 inches above 35 gallon tank. Love custom spectrum and app controls. Like other modern LEDs, it is very powerful, and I only use up to 60% power for 6 hours. I upgraded to 46W for best spread of light. I am not a big fan of the orange color channel but it is easy to adjust it down or off.

This light is great. It is pricey but you get your moneys worth. The settings are highly customizable, and it works great for plant growth. My water sprite are very healthy.

Good light -- bright-ish, good color. A 36 x 18 footprint planted tank needs two units. There is a little bit of a learning curve on the app, but works fine. I had a unit that failed about 8 months in -- the button on the top failed and the light cycled through all its settings even in the absence of user input. Fluval replaced the unit under warranty, which was a good experience though I had to wait about three days for them to initially respond to my claim. After that the process was relatively quick. The lights do not automatically turn back on after a power cut, but rather have to be manually relinked in the app. It is hard to understand why they would be designed this way, and this is a shortcoming that gets a star knocked off the rating. I would purchase these lights again.

Love my Fluval Light for my aquarium. It has professional light settings and you can control from your phone. Could not be any easier. You can quickly modify various light color spectrums if you have some algae creeping into your tank. This Lighting is so beautiful and makes my tank look amazing!!

First impression are fantastic. Very bright at full output. The app is really cool. I’ve been running the “Pro” program that allows a full sun cycle every 24 hours. The program allows for changes to the sunrise/sundown times for extended daylight. Full color adjustment throughout the cycle. I will update my review after I see how the plants responds. Almost 6 months and still can’t believe how incredibly the plant growth is using this light system. My rank is healthy and I have a fantastic ecosystem. Healthy plants, fish have great cover and my shrimp population has multiplied 7 fold. It’s always relaxing to see all the life inside my box of water.

First of all, I love this series of aquarium lights; I bought this after good experiences with a smaller Plant 4.0 22W light, and once plugged in, it functions flawlessly and immediately paired to the app for me to assign my custom lighting routines, just like my other Fluval products. That said, plugging it in in the first place was an issue. I bought a "Used - Mint" listing for a respectable discount, and despite arriving in factory packaging plastered with "QC Pass" stickers, I opened the box to find the lightbar was shipped without a power supply and without a set of riser bracket hardware. The bar itself, again, is great, was wrapped in factory plastic, has its "hot surface" warning sticker on the top, and indeed has no water spots or anything to indicate it had ever been used, but the lack of accessories and minimum power equipment feels pretty scammy. Also of note, I actually received a Fluval Plant 4.0 series light, not the listed 3.0. Not that I'm complaining; again, I like my other 4.0 light plenty, and the slightly shorter 35" length of the 4.0 46W length fits my tank *perfectly. I was even able to use my other light's riser bracket in installing this incomplete unit, so I have no real desire to return it and pass my misfortune on to the next person. No idea if the seller repacked a partial unit knowingly, or if the previous buyer just poached the power supply/risers and returned it for a refund, but I think I'll stick to paying full price at my local aquarium shop for deluxe equipment in the future. Of course, your mileage may vary if you're not intentionally buying a used item, but I've had plenty of similar issues with Amazon's comingled inventory system in the past, even buying "New." TL:DR: I *do* recommend this product, but not buying it sight-unseen from a marketplace like Amazon.

Upgraded from Aquasky to this one. It is miles brighter but the fact you adjust the colour temperature makes this perfect for me. The app is very user-friendly too. VERY PLEASED

El sistema de aplicación del móvil donde se puede elegir horario y establece la intensidad de iluminación y color para adecuarlo a el horario de luz natural me ha gustado mucho. PERFECTA - ENCANTADA.

Eine Super Lampe zum Super Preis. Die Lichtkanäle reinweiß/warmweiß/kaltweiß/Pink/blau sind für alle Zeiten einzeln steuerbar. Endlich keine Zeitschaltuhren und getrennte Lampen für blau und weiß. Mit der neuen Lampe dimmt das Licht von 19:30 bis 20:00 runter und das blaue Licht bleibt noch 2 Stunden länger an. Super Sache mit dem Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang. Hier könnte das dimmen allerdings weicher sein. Aber alles ist besser, als eine Lampe die mit Zeitschaltuhr von 0 auf AN geschaltet wird und sich alle Tiere erschrecken. Ich weiß nicht warum ich mir gleich diese Tolle Lampe zugelegt habe, ich hätte mir wahrscheinlich viel erspart. Wärmeentwicklung der Lampe ist moderat. Das Pflanzenwachstum explodiert förmlich. Ich lasse mein blaues Licht mit 7% laufen, damit das Algenwachstum etwas eingedämmt wird. Die Zeiteinteilung in der APP ist etwas frickelig im Pro Modus. Will man die Zeit verschieben und bleibt auf 7:30 stehen springt beim Loslassen die Zeit auf 7:29 oder 7:32. Mein Tip: Alle Zeiten löschen und neu eintragen. Der innere Monk wird es einem danken ;)

It delivered to Australia about a week. Easy setup in the app. But the light is less wide and go less deep than I expected. it doesn't really cover enough for a 55 long 55cm deep tank.

I have tired other brands and personally nothing compares to Fluval especially when it comes to lights and you pay for what you get the quality is top notch
