No I don’t think so. Its a fairly basic buggy but sturdy enough for a 3 year old to push her 1 year old brother around.

Is this stroller ideal for an 8yr old?

I’d say this buggy is too small for an 8 year old. I bought it for my 18month granddaughter & it’s a good size for her. I hope this helps
