I am pretty picky about my products and services. This product amazed me with the way it sets up. I put it on an ebike that does not have a seat post so I had to mount it differently. Although it was a little of challenge to find the right spot, once I did super happy with the way it turned out. The other rack I was using was bending and had issues from the start. I haven't made a trip yet with it, but I am that confident this will work great, high quality. Fits great with the board lined up nice. The best part about this product is how the arms snap in and out for the ability to use the bike without the rack. I pull my ebike in and out of van and need to remove the rack, now no more alan wrenches and no more stripped alan heads. Stoked.

I didn’t buy this rack my first time around because I thought it was too expensive. I have two boys so I bought two other racks on Amazon from a popular company. Unfortunately they don’t have a quick release and the kids were tough on them mostly when not carrying a surfboard. Both broke (in the same spot) I then purchased this rack solely for the detachable feature. It worked perfectly. When my son is not carrying a board, he removes the rack with the push of a button. Rack stays home rather than getting wrecked by wear and tear from a typical kid on a bike. This worked out so well we just purchased a second rack to replace the other company purchase on Amazon. Shipping was ridiculously fast. The contents are complete and instructions simple and clear. You need an Allen wrench and the bolts are pre installed in the mount, so you only need to tighten them when you’re satisfied with positioning. The aluminum is sturdy and will last a long time in the salt air. Overall I think this product is great and worth it. I wasted money on other bike racks when I should have just bought these from the start. The absolute best feature is the quick release. You turn your bike into a regular bike in the push of a button and save wear and tear on the board rack.

OMG! This is the most amazing product I have purchased in a long time. I thought about building a pvc rack and looked at all the racks, and WOW, this rack is so high quality and well thought out I can't believe it. On my old mountain bike I can mount it on the seat tube, OR on the frame below the seat on the back side between my sturdy back rack and my frame. It holds kiteboards and my surfboard better than I expected. This short version is so light and simple and adjustable and sturdy I am amazed. THANKS for making this!! I am updating several bikes to have sturdy front & rear racks and bins to hold lots of stuff. This board rack is the perfect addition and guarantees I can bike to secluded beaches easily.

holds my 5’7”board in bag nicely. posts are sturdy as is the seat post anchor. pedaling with the rack and board is quite easy with plenty of clearance. will add pictures from my next trip

Superior in functional protection for your delicate shortboard. Removable aluminum legs are padded with dense foam and with some twisting the foam can encompass the entirety of the legs, protecting your surfboard from dents, scratches and scrapes from the metal and connecting edges of the legs. Other brands of bicycle surfboard racks do not have that protection, so when your bicycle hits a bump and the board rattles against the legs, your board will (like all of mine did in spite of me taping more foam padding to the legs) dent, scratch and ding on the exposed metal and edges of the legs. The only improvement I recommend is MBB include a bungee cord or other strap to connect the ends of the legs so your surfboard won't fall through the gap between the legs while you are riding the bicycle.

This is probably the best surfboard bike rack you can buy. Just replaced a cheaper one that I bought on amazon and wish I had bought this one first. The rack is super easy to remove for when you don’t need it. Is super sturdy and well built and has a little locking screw on the seat post attachment so it won’t twist around either. Don’t waste your money on any other rack on Amazon, this is the one you want!

I have a cargo bike with one of those child platform seats on the back for kids who have moved out of bike seats (yuba Kombi). I needed something that wouldn’t interfere with that platform/rail and had easily removable arms. I took a gamble on this and so far it’s been perfect. The seatpost clamp is heavy duty and I can see that it might scratch up a seatpost. Maybe some tape around it before installing. Can’t speak to the durability over time but so far so good .

for the amount of money you pay for this it should be better. The screws keep coming loose and falling out. I have to re-tighten them. I don’t know if it’s the aluminum or what but it’s very disappointing.

Ich besitze ein Rennrad (klassischer Rahmen vom Ende der 90er Jahre). Der Rahmen des Rennrads ist aus Stahl. Die Rahmenhöhe ist 61cm. Wenn ich damit fahre, stellt sich ein unsicheres Fahrgefühl ein. Die Gepäckträgernutzung ist ein Longboard 110cm lang etwa 8,5 kg schwer, Die Ladung daddelt. Alles fühlt sich ein wenig wabbelig an. Das Fahrrad kämpft mit der seitlich eingeleiteten Last. Diese Beanspruchungsart ist nicht für den Rahmen geeignet. Es funktioniert, ist aber unangenehm.
