New Castle Delaware Street Atlas

I moved to Delaware a couple of decades ago and used this map (actually its predecessor editions) to find my way around. I kept them in my car and used them until the cover fell off or a new edition came out. About the time GPS came into wide use I moved to Texas. I ordered this map for my son, whose first real job is, coincidentally, in New Castle county, DE. Before it arrived, he was out and got lost when his GPS had a fit. He grew up there but didn't do much driving until moving to Texas, so although the area is very familiar, he's not quite got the roads mapped out in his head. He doesn't have a smartphone to use as back up maps (imagine that, a new college grad without a smartphone).These maps are extremely detailed, and are in a book format, with a grid map in front to find the right page. We joked that it was in real life scale, as Delaware is the second smallest state. Flipping through the pages to follow a road can get tedious but the detail and accuracy can't be beat.

Three printing quality of the ADC map books has decreased greatly in the last ten years. It is hard to tell side streets from highways. A lot of details are no longer included. Unfortunately, this is the only source for this kind of info.
