Planet Pleasures Pineapple Foraging Toy

I have a small little lovebird and he absolutely loved this! He went crazy and it is safe to say it is one of his favorite and most used toys. I will definitely be buying more soon. He pretty much destroyed it after about a week and a half as you can see!Update: Bought it again but the smaller version, a really great and economic toy for my little bird.

The second I took this adorable pineapple toy out of the packaging my bird went to town. He loves it so much. It's definitely not a long lasting toy but I don't find that to be an issue. Birds toys are supposed to be changed often and this was inexpensive.

This is a really cool and very large paper shredding toy for a range of bird sizes (and I only bought the size large - the XL must be huge). I have two green cheek conures and this thing is about the same size as them, just wider. Seeing as how the pieces poking out of it are fairly thin, I think even smaller birds could get their beaks on it and have fun shredding it. I also think a larger medium bird or even a big parrot could have some fun with it, though I'm sure it wouldn't last as long. It is very well made, as most Planet Pleasures toys seem to be, and it's very sturdy. Mine weren't the least bit interested in it for a while (and one of them was terrified of it for the first few days), but after putting it in the cage of my more rambunctious baby, it's finally getting some use after having it for months. Even after he obviously worked pretty hard to tear it up he's still only ripped little pieces off. Overall, this is a great and neat looking toy that will take most birds a while to tear apart.

I got two of these about a year ago and my parakeets and cockatiel did not seem to like or dislike it, it would get picked at once in awhile. Then I put the other one with our lovebird who was going through a rough time (she laid an egg without having a mate). Our lovebird loved this shredder. Our pineapple conure took notice and wanted to shred too! Now I have to keep buying these. If I go to move or adjust the shredder once it is smaller, these two bird protect it. With everyday use for hours, a medium one lasts about 3 weeks. I have ordered a lot of these and I know the colors are random but the sizes are too! My birds are fine with small medium or large and I have only bought medium but gotten all 3 sizes. Don't know why but my birds like the red and green ones the best? and yellow and pink ones the least. but you can't choose your colors.

Purchased 3 and happy to receive all in different color patterns.I was worried the size may not be good enough for my birds so I purchased the large size. When opened the box, it seemed a bit smaller than I expect to be "Large," more like what I will say "Medium," but it actually fits my cages well and even decent size for my galah. I was worried the size would not be big enough for galah (medium size cockatoo) to play with, turns out...it is about the same size as a galah and he likes to snap it!Recommend to bird owners

It took my African gray a while to accept it. Typical. But she has had a blast destroying it. It's really tough and lasts really well. I'm getting her a new one soon.

My conure loves this pineapple! It's great for foraging as I like to gently pull apart the paper to stuff it with seeds for him to find, my first one lasted about 2mo which is pretty good for my destructive sun conure and I will most likely get a subscription for a regular delivery of them.
