Best Beginner Ball
These are brilliant balls for a beginner: - They're cheap and I lose a lot of balls - They feel great off the tee and genuinely add yards even over other distance balls - I've found them consistent and confidence inspiring on the greens - I'm not good enough to deliberately generate backspin etc. which I don't think these are the best balls for. Instead, I need a ball that comes out of the rough even on a poor strike and these are great for that. I hope one day to be a good enough golfer to require a premium ball, but for now these are improving my game better than if I used ProV1s every round.

Excellent ball for winter
The Wilson velocity ball is an excellent ball for the winter as it has a low compression and less likely to cause numb fingers if hit a bit thin. It also performs well and is very good value for money.

Excellent softer feel ball. Am handicap 14 and prefer to use Velocity Tour over balls designed for 10 handicap to scratch. Very good softer feel for putting. . Driving good control with Callaway driver. Nice feel and noise off driver face. Excellent price performance for mid to lower handicap.
