No more blinds spots
Having a monitor that can pull up 4 channels (camera's) on one screen is found on the newer more expensive electronic vehicles (EV's). I rode in an Uber Kia EV and the driver showed me how he can view all around the car and even above it (still have figure out they do that). When this package came in, the box did not display what I ordered. Stated it was a monitor for car video headrest. I needed a monitor for my DIY 4 camera system I planned on installing in my truck (front/back/sides). I thought Amazon delivered the wrong monitor so I returned it (Amazon has a great return program). They sent me another one and to my disappointment, it was the same packaging from my first order. I decided I should look more closely and the monitor was exactly as the picture on the description website. So I tested it with a 12 volt battery for power and a couple of cameras. To my surprise the monitor has 4 channel function. A test set up worked great with 2 camera's. I intend to combine the power/ground from all 4 cameras and not utilize the trigger wires so I can keep all the cameras on constantly. The screen is 9 inches, perfect size for my truck and clarity is very good. You can change from 1 to 2 or 3 to all 4 channels on the monitor. You will need additional RCA (male) cord to 4 pin camera to make it work. A lot of wiring to accomplish but I think I can get it working.

Good monitor but not perfect…
Overall it has been a good monitor but recently has been coming on with a scrambled screen of the video inputs overlapping and scrolling all over randomly. Not sure why, turning it off and then back on sometimes fixes it other times it just remains unusable. Totally random. Other than issue, the screen quality was good and sharp, included mounting options made adapting it fit my 2019 Ford Transit cargo van (came without a rearview mirror) pretty easy…

Picture in black and white
It works ok. Picture quality is pretty low and the viewing angle is small. My biggest issue is the picture is in black and white. I've tried 3 different cameras that I know are color.

Have to press the buttons really hard to get them to work
Buttons don't work unless you really press on them . Also it wouldn't let me format the memory card. I tried several different cards with no luck. Other than that the video quality and night vision worked great

Larger size works very well
I bought this to replace a smaller 7" quad screen monitor. The picture is much clearer, brighter and easier to pick out details. I particularly like the "sun shade" wrapped around the top and sides which reduces glare and enhances viewing. I use this as security monitor to keep an eye on what's going on outside my RV (hearing noises in the night, porch pirate prevention, etc.) One small gripe: The battery (CR2025) was missing from the remote (?). I bought a new, fresh replacement that fixed that in a jiffy. Otherwise, push buttons below the viewing screen work well and are quite intuitive. Would have given 5 stars, but for the missing battery. I suspect that complaints I've read about faulty remote could likewise be fixed with a new battery.
