Mega Magz, 130-Piece Magnetic Construction Set - 66 bars and 64 balls

I just purchased two sets of Mega Magz 130 piece set. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the order came. I was hesitant to purchase this item because I have bought magnets before and was disappointed in how weak they were. These keep their shape when building with them. I bought them for a team building activity at work about "taking new routes and building bonds with each other." The bonus was after the activity my 3 year old grandson was fascinated with them and loves playing with them.

This is a wonderful toy for kids young and old. Glad to see you can still buy quality ones from a few places.

The Mega Magz set I ordered has been greatly enjoyed by myself and my little nieces and nephews. There are enough pieces to make a decent variety of shapes and objects. Spinning an object on the end of a string of Mega Magz was particularly fun! I found the magnets to be sufficiently strong to hold the pieces together. Price seemed a tad high, but overall a very good, entertaining,creativity-inducing toy.

I purchased Mega Magz for my 8 - year old son and he loves to build different structures with the bars and the steel balls. In fact, he loves it so much that I bought a second set. Building with Mega Magz seems to be his favorite time, a great time for imaginative play and quiet time (for parents as well).I recommend this product and give it a 5 stars. Literally, my son spends hours creating different shapes and "building" structures.Awesome and fun educational toy!

I bought this set for my 4 year old granddaughter for Christmas. Then last night I saw a report on T.V. that these type magnetic marble toys have been banned in the United States because of children swallowing them, then their intestines or insides will stick together. On little girl almost died and had to have surgery to remove them . Why are you still selling them in the United States. I have thrown them away and not let any child play with them. They SHOULD NOT be on your web site.

I have 3 boys, 5, 4, and 2 yrs old. All enjoy constructing with this set, but my 4 year old spends the most time (up to 30 minutes in the morning).The bars are 2 and 3/8" long, the balls are 1/2" diameter. (the bars are probably exactly 6cm long)66 bars (3 plastic packages with 22 bars each) and 64 balls (4 packages of 16 balls each). The packaging is minimal -- they come in two, plain white cardboard boxes with little wasted space.

This is one of the most creative greatest gift you can give kids! My mother-in-law (now in Heaven) purchased these years ago for my boys and I now purchased them for her other grandchildren (my nephews and niece). They loved them and my boys helped them create things that their Dad (my boys uncle) helped them make when they received theirs years ago. Our family tradition to have these around. So, much better than them hooked on computer games.

Love the product but they are much, much smaller than I had imagined. When I got them I went back and looked at the description again and it not super clear that these are the MINI sized magnets and connectors. I bought this for my nephew but once they arrived and were so small they were not safe to give to him until he is much older! MUCH older! don;t get me wrong they are good quality and great fun they are just tiny in size!
