this is more of a preference and my opinion based on my research.. nutritional yeast is not good for our bodies and many vegetarians and vegans are consuming this ingredient with the understanding or belief that it is a healthy alternative but its not.. and thats lack of knowledge is also why so many vegetarians and vegans or those attempting to have a healthier lifestyle are bringing more harm to themselves than good.. do you own research.. as the same is true for soy... its not a healthier option, neither is beyond meet or the impossible burger..sorry for the other suggested items i realize aren't what we thought they were... but knowledge is power and if i am attempting to have a healthier diet, i just want the truth for whats naturally better for my body...

According to the label on the outside of the container, it simply take one spoonful of the salad topper to work it's magic. However even after 3 spoonfuls I still could only just barely taste the zesty flavor.Unlike croutons, which add both flavor and texture to a salad, this salad topping was lackluster in the flavor department and undetectable in the texture. Perhaps it is because I am use to far more powerful salads, like the caesar, but here my taste bubs were scrounging to find the flavor.So if you're someone who is more sensitive to flavors in your food, or you're going with a lighter salad with a more base flavor, then this might be up your alley.

I've never tried a parmesan alternative before and I'm pleased with the Pimp My Salad products. I bought the Cashew mix first and liked it so well that I bought the Hemp version as well. I can't say it actually tastes like parmesan cheese, but it does add a slightly salty and tangy flavor to whatever I sprinkle this on. I've put it on salads, beans, etc and it's always good. I'll definitely reorder when these are gone.

No taste!! Don’t get it!! Maybe it lost flavor on its trip from Australia?!

I really like this product. Just the right mix of flavor and crunch. This is now my new parmesan to put on pasta, potatoes, salad and anything else that needs this added flavor.

Very nice flavor. Not really cheese taste to me. It yummy never the less. Too expensive for myself. But a nice splurge.

You really have to add a lot of this stuff to taste it. And, it's still not extremely flavorful. I won't purchase this again.
