Why are there conflicting answers about whether they are magnetic or not. Are these magnetic or not? Simply answers please.

The version I received was 100% magnetic. To the degree they work with the 2x6mm magnets I purchased to keep shirt collars in place still TBD.

Are the collar stays ferritic?

These are made of non-magnetic stainless steel, so they won't work with any type of magnet. Hope this helps!
