Top notch
This is a really good primer. If you’re painting bare metal, you need to use this. The etching primer binds to bare metal, giving the paint something to bind to. I use it on anything I paint. Works very well. As far as rattle cans go, rustoleum is my go to. I’ve tried other brands just to see them fail.

Excellent primer!
This worked very well for my application. I painted a hitch coupler that I welded up from bare metal. The primer was easy to apply evenly and made for a good looking top coat. It has held up impressively being used on an ATV trailer frequently towed over gravel roads.

Good paint.
Used this on an aluminum mailbox that needed some TLC. So far so good, the finishing paint is holding well to the aluminum.

Probably as good as the average consumer can expect from a can.
Used it as a primer on an old aluminum shower frame. I throughly cleaned and sanded/scuffed, prepped with rubbing alcohol to clean off residue, and sprayed. It went on smooth and even, even though it was a bit of a chilly day in my garage. However, 48 hour cure time wasn't enough - after letting the top coat of black paint dry an additional 2 days, although carefully reinstalling, it still chipped down to the aluminum. The pieces I let cure for 4 days seemed to do better, nothing chipped or was easily scratched off. I would suggest a long long cure time - longer than the recommend. Time will tell how long it actually holds up. So far (the shower is a light-use guest shower) it's doing ok, except for the initial scratches and chips that happened while re-installing.

Be sure to shake well and 2 light coats with one wet coat.
Adheres well to metal, couple of thin coats and a wet coat, flawless.
