I’m not a professional auto painter but have been painting my own vehicles for years as a hobby. The spray gun I used was a 30+ year old craftsman siphon type. It was time to look for one a little newer and decided on this one. Experience has taught me that 3M products are as good as any on the market. But I must say that the selling point for me was the easy setup and clean up this gun allows. The fun for me is spraying the paint, not the clean up of the spray gun. The cost of the disposable pieces are more than offset by the savings in paint, primer, and cleaning solvents. Everything about it is straight forward and easy to use just read the instructions with the spray gun and related parts close by. An unexpected plus while painting is the weight of the assembled unit. Much lighter than my old one. The air pressure gauge is easy to adjust and read while in the booth. But the end result is what matters most, and the accusprayer delivers a fine finished product! No complaints. Far better than my old sprayer and it exceeded my expectations. One major caution - do not buy from ProVision paint supply. They are the worst seller I’ve dealt with on Amazon. Terrible, Terrible!

I like the versatility of this gun and the fact that it is capable of laying down a very good coat of base and clear. I tried it on primer and it is good at that as well. The nozzles last a long time if you clean them after each use but being able to refresh the gun with a new one is a great idea. I found the 1.4 ideal for base and epoxy primers. The 1.3 worked best with the clear that I was using. The 1.8 for 2k primer worked well. The only down side is that it might not lay the clear down quite as smooth as my Sata but it still lays down better than a lot of dedicated guns. Along with the disposable 3M paint cups, this set up is hard to beat for most jobs.

My husband is highly disappointed in this product. The atomizing head will not stay clipped on the gun. It comes apart when spraying at recommended pressure.

This is 3M accuspray 2.0 home use. Works well, sprays great. Very low cleanup cost. Spraying down primer works well. Not no high-end gun but definitely great for what I do. As stated in other reviews, it will not produce the output and work a high-end gun will. However it will still put in work. It is an air hog if this is a concern. This 1.0 cups will not work nor tips eventhough the tips will work. If you have 1.0 cups and tips, you can still use this gun with those.

First of all....WOW!!! This spray gun is amazing!! It sprays so nicely it blew my mind. Such an awesome system too with the disposable lids and liners what an amazing product. One thing to be mindful of is it does call for 13cfm @20 psi but I will tell you my 5hp 20 gallon compressor that is rated for 8cfm @ 40psi had no problem running this gun so make sure you have enough air before buying and being disappointed. I can say enough good things about this spray gun!!!

The build quality is amazing. I did not think the quality would be that good with it being plastic. I was extremely wrong. The cleanup is the best feature to me. The spray quality is very good. Buy more replacent cups and lids, because you will be so happy with this gun that you will go through the supplied cups quickly.

This kit is quite expensive to have poor quality control. I overlooked some of the previous complaints about the nozzle falling off but ignored seeing the fewer number of negative comments. The gun is light and sturdy, quite comfortable to hold. Design and form factor is pretty good. When the nozzle stays in place the gun is amazing. Very little overspray. Control knobs like fan and flow are quite precise. The pressure gauge had a jammed control knob initially and I thought it was defective but it started working later and worked just fine. I tried using gun for few days believing I was doing something wrong while installing the nozzle and tried different nozzle but with same result. When the nozzle comes loose there is mild click sound which you may miss if you are not paying attention and then you get a puddle of paint on your work and you start over again. Very frustrating. Returning the gun. Seems like 3M is aware of this problem because the nozzle latching mechanism is different and more practical in the Precision gun which is at a higher price point but you may not buy it straight away. Once you use this cheaper gun with problem some may upgrade to the expensive one given the definite advantages of this product over others. Personally I too am getting tempted to go for the Precision gun because if the nozzle does not fall off there is no other problem.

What I saw is the way of fixture of nozzle, it’s just push and lock system. if it’s only for the nozzle maybe ok, but the paint cup is also fix with the same nozzle adapter. So that load also effects to the fixture. Not a cheap gun and not sure how long it will be able stands. Except this issue, the design is good.

This product is a great idea! Easy to clean, easy to maintain but obtaining a good finish takes some experience. All parts are plastic so handle with care.

The concept for this gun is great but theres major flaws worked good first couple uses but now the tips pop off while painting. Made of cheap plastic Will end up throwing this out after a few uses

Overall the concept and system is very good. However, the paint gun is so-so. I never had any issues with the tops coming off, but the gun still flows even if the trigger is not pressed. I have to put undo pressure on the trigger in its resting/off state before the gun stops flowing. The other issue is the included air regulator... which is not a true air regulator, but more of a flow rate control. Air regs ensure a constant pressure, whereas, the flow control does not truly regulate the air pressure. Its control is very finicky and to use it with my setup, I had to fiddle with my compressor regulator and this control device to maintain a consistent spray pattern. I think 3M needs to do better on the paint gun and include a true air reg and the system would be significantly better. and the air-reg is not a regulator, but a air flow control.
